here is the idea. if it has not allready benn proposed. People post there daily commutes and times. that way any other people riding around that time could meet up and ride together. we ride in groups for fun at night. why not to work. are if people ride to farmers markets to get food are anything like that.
anyway i ride from lake and colorado in pasadena to downtown sierra madre around 11 am
nah man were cool, plus he gots a mean looking face, i didnt talk to that dude for like a year cuz how Mean he looked, plus i was on BMX n knew if i talked shit he could most likely catch up to me on his bike.

i ride from noho to wilshire/westwood.santa monica blvd and venice blvd would be two obvious routes running east and west. too bad ridazz are never on schedule. at least not when we organize ourselves through here
isnt there a way on google maps to make a custom map so people can add their commute and time? there has to be somebody with the internet powers to set this up?
Isn't the title of the thread a bit mislabeled? BTW, I've seen a video of something similar to Bike Pool called People Bus or something like that. It was in Italy and what it was is one or two adults start picking up the school kids at their houses in the neighborhood and march them all to school. By the time they arrived to school, it would be a bus load of kids walling in.
Yeah i guess. but bike pool makes me think of riding my bike in a swimming pool. or creating a giant pool table and riding bikes into the balls. But all these are good ideas too. lets bike car pool to bike pool with no cars then go play pool.

If youd ever want to ride over Supulveda to the westside with me (eliminate the 761) we might be able to bike-pool this part of our ride together. I've found even though Supulveda is not easy, its actually quicker to ride it then to take the MTA over it.
here is my route to work

In the morning, I leave at 630am, on the way home, I get to Supulveda and Santa Monica at about 615-630. I am not the quickest person going up at hill, But I've never met a hill that I've had to stop and rest on. And I love going down Supulveda, its really the best.
Sadly my longer hours at work really make my day a long damn day. But a bike ride makes it better
new job... starting in 1 or 2 weeks I'll be going from noho to UCLA... orange line then 761.
I'd like to bike the whole thing sometimes. I'll be working 9-6. Madmelo, iJunes, and godofthor do you guys want to bike back over the hill after work together? that way it doesn't matter so much if some people are faster cuz we don't have to worry about being somewhere by a certain time. Sepulveda would be less sketchy w/ 4 of us...
also, has anyone ever done beverly glen as a route? I scouted it in a car the other day and it has a wide parking lane that you can bike in most of the time and cars go slower. It is pretty hilly though. From my house to ucla beverly glen is 10 miles, sepulveda is 15
