So I apologize if anyone has already posted this, but I'm pretty new 'round these parts & haven't been through ALL the archives. A friend of mine sent this to me & I figured I would pass it on to you all & see what you guys think...Any opinions on this piece of equipment? Know about it? Use it already?

it's not on the market yet and nobody has seen one. i'm not even sure if they made a prototype. if you do the math, it can't really be nearly as bright as the picture makes it look since solid state lasers don't have great efficiency, yet they claim a really long run time. somehow the green laser in one picture makes a red line in the other picture which kinda shows just how well thought through everything is .
it's basically a bunch of design students jerking off.

that is cool but if it was real with some high powered lasers like that id say it cost 500 bucks at least.
id rather buy a light laser i can cut fools with after the cut me off from a mile away:

Yeah, I was thinking it was too good to be true. Guess we'll have to see what happens when it actually comes out & it's not simply an idea that they're testing out to make people go "WOW, wouldn't that be GREAT??"
*le sigh*
Another "too good to be true" thing. Ah well....Thanks for the input anyways!

There is a video of this light posted up somewhere here. You maybe able to track it down. I wasn't too impressed with it cause it wasn't that bright. I'd feel alot more confident with a planet bike 1/2 watt superflash than this thing.

its not bright and the "lanes" extend about 6 feet behind u.
