I'm riding my bike home from work along Carson Street in Torrance and this dude on the passenger side of a Ford Pickup truck rolls down his window and asks me for a phone number while stopping on the red light to go green at Western while I'm on the right side of the road.
I take off my helmet and go. "Dude?"
He goes "my bad" and then rides off calling me a "bike slut".
I don't know where to start. I know my hair is frizzed and long but not that long to make dudes think I look like a chick.
Or should I think that if I was a girl, Would I ride my bike as fast as I can to catch up to the guy for calling me a slut and demand an apology.
I rode laughing yet baffled.

When I'm riding my bike to work, I ride with my bike courier outfit. Message bag and sometimes a reflective Caltrans vest. Maybe the guy had a good happy hour that day.
