Just a personal reassurance

I never abandoned the rides, I've just been tied up with a company that has gone South as far as getting paid.
Only reason I post this type of thing up every so often is that I'm under the notion that I've completely stopped going to the big rides or any of them in general.
As for my noticeable change in appearance when I was down there back in June, lets just say fulltime work and nightly workouts only work if both are happening at the same time.
Anywho, as soon as I've got some of the small things reassembled, I'll go back to my habit of making it down there twice a month.

Bent!
I saw a dude that looked alot like you at last Friday's TRWHH. He was on a mt. bike, but the bike was not a yellow Hummer. He had a do-rag like yours, but no helmet. I rolled up next to him all excited before I realized he wasn't you.
We gotta get you on the next Dark Century to help you lose that extra poundage, brother.

No, that won't be necessary.
Essentially, when I work a straight, 40-50 hours a week over the normal course of 5 days and get off at 11pm or 12 am, I automatically go straight to the gym for 2 hours.
Not to mention when you're at home less often, you begin to forget about food as well.
I actually fasted during my 8-12 hour shifts.

What's tying you to living up there? You could find a place to rent down here, no? Work down in San Pedro on the docks with PC!

Well, I'm just trying to save up enough money to use as a cushion to get by between paychecks if and when I find a place down there.
That's kind of hard to do right now when the company I'm with right now consistently delays pay and you're the only one in the house even working.
Another thing to look at is rent prices and whatnot.
1Bd/1Bath apartment up here goes between $300 and $700.
Down there, $800-$1500+?
Essentially, I'm living rent free up here, staying at either my stepdads, or moms whenever they need a hand with something.
So, until I could find an even mixture of a decently-priced place to live and a security or trucking position that isn't crooked as a connect-the-dots puzzle, I got to wait until the window of opportunity opens back up.
Truthfully, with the exception of that OTR trucking position I had two years ago, I haven't really lived on my own, so-to-speak.

In that respect, I'm lightening up a little.
The big boys in the likes of Swift, CR England, Schneider and such will someday be revived.
It'll only be a matter of time before I'm permitted to spread my reign of terror over the wastelands of the MidWest.
