tire is done, not worth the risk of getting stranded.

Try one of the bike co-ops or spend $12 or so for a Forte GT2 Kevlar tire at Performance.

go to performance bikes. You can walk out of there with two new tires for less than a $18. That's with tax. They got great deals on other tires too.

i fixed an everwear this way. there was a big slice in the sidewall, but the tube wasnt popping through yet. i reinforced it with a tube patch and it held for about a year with no problems. ultimately, it did get boxed out so i got rid of it. if it's the back tire on your fixie, i say patch it and if it holds, have fun skidding through it.
yeah, it's your life, but $40 for a new everwear is a lot of money.

all glued up ... doesnt look half bad, but it looks like it'll split open.. hopefully the boot holds the tire together.
this is starting to sound like a bad idea haha >.<

you might want to start carrying a $10 folding tire just in case...at least for the first few days.

Duct tape
Seriously though, i'd say you're gonna have to just bite the bullet and replace it. Dont want to be messing around with something that operates at 100 PSI and could leave you stranded someplace if it fails

yeah i think i'll start doing that.
i actually skidded through the boot thing i glued in. or a pinch flat. but it split open after the first skid and the ride was bumpy from there >.<

also remount the tire the other way so when you skid it doesnt pull up where its glued.
