i am trying to locate the store atomix cycles (?)

i'm not too sure of the name. i heard from an employee of cycle world on reseda and parthenia that they sell used parts cheap. no luck from google, does anyone know where the location is? i'll bring you a gift.
i'm looking to swap out the moustache bars (and brake levers & mirror) that came on my CL pickup for racing handies- either bullhorn bars (as i assume they are a great way to maximize size on a bike) or angled drops.
i don't want to spend like 90 bucks on everything--- because i CAN'T!

spoke cards????
Thats so 2006... I totally thought Id be receiving a first edition of George Bataille's "Story of the eye"
damn you philo students... oh and stay in school or change your major... no body cares about philosophy when you need to pay bills... all your lovely principles will crumble as the banks call and try to convince you to pay them back... (nope, sue me...who needs credit anyway?)

charizards i wish! the cards are at another house, i won't be able to access them today. i would always keep them on me, and whenever we crossed paths well that is when i would deliver the gift.
how should we do this shit? i could try disassembling my bike, i have no fucking clue how. father has a good set of wrenches and what not. also i have a car, so i could always drive somewhere. i'm located in the valley. i don't carry a gun on me.
and would you be interested in trading brake levers as well? if you have them that is id be apreeshed to an absurd degree.

well i can demolish and rebuild your bike for you... but its too easy...
for start: whats wrong with the levers you have? Those bars should have road levers, why wont you be able to keep them?

i dunno, i imagined they would just not fit. i'll take a pic in a sec, earlier there was a mexican dude just chilling by my gate eatin lunch and it was a little awkward to open up the gate with him sittin there and all. let's see if he's still there.
and well, i'd want to learn how to change it. i've gone to the bike kitchen before and learned up on shit the hard way, but when the bike shops wont let you do it yourself fuck that shit man.

Us Mexicans just love gates, we love jumping over them with one hop, and we love scaring people... oh yeah, and we like to eat in order to keep our vital signs in check.
Try talking to the amigo, and just say, "hey, i see youre eating, but I just got to get through the gate". If he doesnt speak English, then Id just call the police -- those Mexicans are dangerous

Conspirate's bars, are typical from like english roadster bikes... They're comfy on those bikes... but not what comes to mind really when you have moustache bars to trade.
Its ok... we all start from somewhere...

my friend misinformed me. i never stood behind the product i was offering. in fact, that is exactly why i wanted to rid of them. i am not english, i have no desire for them.
apologies to my friends and family who's support has led me hence far. i am not a crook. but i cannot possibly live with the burden of this any longer.
expect my resignation on your desk first thing friday morning.

LOL it's cool. Like it was said above, everyone was at your point before. Just go to Paul's aka Atomic Cycle. He'll do you right. Best to go with your bike if you can.

people are a lot nicer here... try pulling that on some other site and they'll eat you alive...
Theres a saying, or maybe I just think people say it: Just ride what you got!
I have a hard time following it...
Honestly you probably should remove the levers... I hope your friend is a good friend and isnt misleading you further, those Dave Scott bikes are popular... people like anything that is steel because they think if its the kind of steel that is considered "real steel" (but the "steel is real" phrase is reserved something else)... anyhow... late 80's, early 90's triathletes will envy you.
anyhow... point... I hope you're a taller dude... its seems like you're fairly new to the two-wheeled world. Before you put more $$$$ into the bike, make sure it is your size. You might have a larger frame on hand which its much better to get the frame right first, then play with parts.
Im only posting this to help... it all may be fine, but if you want other help... post away.

i appreciate it.
it's a 56cm frame. bought it on craigslist for 80. i'm 6ft. i really won't know if it's the right frame size until i put new handlebars on it, because i wouldn't be riding it upright normally my friend simply told me the handlebars were called moustache, thats all the deceit (i hope)
if it doesn't fit, i can sell the bike for 250 or so easily. so i'm not worried, i'll get my money back.

I'd be cool with that. But i just dropped it off at atomic cycles. Last in line. Didn't pay for anything yet. So if you're down to do this in the next day or so, i can get it back. I'd rather have your bars also then the standard steel i'd be receiving.
