A friend gave me this great saddle he didn't like it, I think its perfect. The only thing is it has a bunch of horrible graphics and stuff printed on it (lame lines and swooshes).
does anyone know how to remove those (other then just ride on the saddle for a year).

If you remove them, your bike will be slower
but if you must, hairspray and a lighter. Aim, shoot, fire.

take a sharpie to that shit. although that would require lots of retouching.

that will just melt the seat, don't do that.
If anything, you should try goof off. yeah, I bet Goof Off would do the trick. I was cleaning a plastic number plate with some goof off once and it took the graphics right off.

goo-gone, goof-off, spraypaint remover and denatured alcohol (brake and carburator cleaner) are all powerful chemicals. i'd recommend starting with the goo gone, and if that doesnt work, try the carburator cleaner. the spraypaint remover may melt the seat, as will the denatured alcohol if you don't rinse it off fast enough. be sure you have a bucket of water handy so you can dunk the seat.
sharpie would be easiest.

you know, it's not like you can see the saddle while you're riding.

I feel like this thread is a hospital forum, in which we are all seat doctors

What's the problem. You can't see it when your riding anyway. Pic of new seat here.

Duderina called it. GoofOff contains xylene and toluene, both will remove almost all solvent-based inks (like the ink of your swooshy saddle graphics).

Off! as in the insect repellent. Spray, let sit, scrub. Trust me, try it.

Just ride it until the graphics wear off. That works for polishing the copper rivets on your Brooks too...

Send it off to some 3rd world country. There will be some dirt poor kid that would wear off the graphics for next to nothing.

We use acetone to remove printed graphics/text from saddles at work

velocipede is right...just ride the hell out of it and they'll wear off.
I wonder what manufactures and designer are thinking when the put tacky ass designs on what could be simple and aesthetically pleasing.
