This was part of the BFF in other cities. Why it's not part of LA's is beyond me.
Any one else going?

best line was something like,
I quit, this is not a race, I haven't seen anybody in three days, its not worth it.
and next time I bring a folding chair like everybody else, I thought I'd be sitting in the bleachers.
Anyway, do it again, movies at the Velo, beats the drive-in.
and thanks for the moto shorts beforehand.

This was an intense movie. Them doods are nuts man! The winning rida sleep 11 hours and some minutes on his 8 day race across the US. The course changes, so you can't really compare year to year accurately. The shortest crossing was 8d 3h 11m and the fastest average time was over 15 mph! Insane!

sat on my bike, the crossbar, laid it down and leaned against the seat...gonna bring a chair next time...one of those backpack beach chairs. prickly plants in the infield didn't help. but no flat tires.
I do it again anytime.
