Yes it's that time of year again... Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on what's happening.
Wed Aug 26th - Opening Party/Rock Concert - DEER HUNTER and EXTRA GOLDEN are playing and Sean Carlson of The Fuck Yeah Fest is hosting!
Thurs Aug 27th - JOY RIDE Art Show Opening - featuring art by: Aiko / Cheryl Dunn / Chris Stain / Christian Ebert / Ed Glazar /Kelsey Brookes / Kenzo Minami / Martha Cooper / Maya Hayuk / Mike Giant / Scott Campbell / Silver Warner / Steve MacDonald / (and of course more :)
Fri Aug 28th - Bicycle Movies at The Downtown Independent Theatre (aka Imaginasian Theatre - same as the Macaframa Premier).

Sat Aug 29th - Bicycle Movies at The Downtown Independent Theatre (aka Imaginasian Theatre - same as the Macaframa Premier).

Sun Aug 30th - Block Party on Heliotrope and Melrose (where Orange 20 Bikes and the Bicycle Kitchen are)

Tickets are already available online and I encourage you to get em early if you know you want to go to a particular screening cuz the theater is a lot smaller this year. It's NOT at the Vine like usual.....

I'm really bummed the film on the annual
Race Across America is not playing. Saw it scheduled in other cities, not sure why you guys didn't schedule it here. That would have been my "go to" movie, I'm sure. Not sure what I want to see now. Looks like it pretty heavily fixie and polo stuff. I'll more than likely pass on most of it and just figure out one program to go to.

$30 pass ain't a bad deal. This allows you to see all of the programs. Too bad it's during the film at
Encino Velodrome. grrrrrrrrr I got a tuff decision to make.

Both of tonight's programs were fucking awesome. "where are you go" was the shit. I can't wait for it to come on DVD to show peeps. Really inspiring.

Another amazing Day @ The BFF. Great crowd tonight to see the big screen debut of the "better" version of Midnight Ride. Thanks to all that organized it. That was $30 well spent.

I'm still tripping over that urban bike shorts program last night. That Lucas Brunelle flick was absolutely insane. Fucking artists. Safari London was another favorite. The Trinidad crew and of course scraper bike king. A really really great program. I wish it was avaialbale on DVD.

what a great weekend!! the movies were stellar this year - I was super impressed. and I actually got to watch a bunch of them since their was other BFF staff here too!!
the block party was a blast even though there was fighting... which is lame...
glad those who came out came out!!!
