I've always been into the supernatural and was a big fan of "Unsolved Mysteries".
The theme-song alone from that show sent chills down my spine.
Anywho, has any rida out there had a little run-in with the people who are no longer of this world?
I remember at the "Play In The Valley" back in August that one of speedybrians' cadre members took a picture of this one dude near the baseball park.
Everything else in the picture was regular light levels, but this particular guys face had an aura of some type, near it.
Then of course, there was that picture I took of that old, house in Arizona.

the building im in. sometimes i hear someone walking and mumbling something in the hallway and when i open the door to look...
well no one is there.
my apt. building was built in 1926 and was originally a hotel. these units were turned into apartments later. Im sure lots of folks have died in this building and maybe some cant rest in peace or make it over to the light and are quite possibly stuck in our realm and an old version of their living world - which is probably in the same space just a multidimensional realm.

I once saw the spirits of four little girls that were hit by a moving train in the 60's. It was quite the rush.

My parents have an old house in the midwest that I spent my teen years in.My mom hated driving ,so every morning I would have to wake up and go into the living room and sleep on the couch and they would put my baby sister in her play pin to sleep while my step dad drove my mom to work. One morning I woke up out of no where and found a pale translosent women standind over me,not moving at all just standing.Behind her I could see picture frames on our fireplace that I'v never seen befor, but I could'nt tell what was in them.I was totally freaked out I rubbed my eyes to try to make it all go way,but she was still there and the whole living room was kind of glowing.I looked at my sister who was still sleeping, and threw the covers over my head and just tired to sleep. When I woke up the living room was dark again, she was gone and my sis was still sleeping.I was freaked but I felt safe for some reason. After that I could hear things being picked up and set down in the kitchen all the time when I would be all alone in the house.

@raquel
O rly?
I remember when I was over there, I slept with my face away from the kitchen entrance.
I don't know, but maybe I had a feeling that something was amiss and didn't want to find out.
Anywho, there's also those stories of the "vanishing/phantom hitchhiker" ghosts.
The types that you either pick up, thinking it's a real hitchhiker, or the ones sitting in your passenger seat when it was empty a few minutes ago.

I once went on a ghost hunt in Ventura. All me and my friends got was a weird sense of our surroundings. It was a lot of fun.

Dude, Eddie! I SWEAR UP AND DOWN that my wife's cat talked to me too!!!!
He was next to me and i hear "I like coffee."
No one else in the room, no radio, nothin'!
I tried to tell my wife, but she doesn't believe me.
Everytime I look at that cat he knows I heard him and he just sits there, taunting me, a bit like Poe's raven.

Sometimes when I poop, I feel the relief one often does after such struggle. But when I get up and reach to flush, I look down and notice there's nothing there.

Leetard, Have you given your cat coffee to prove/disprove what you heard.....I've never know a cat to like coffee, so if yours does, your not crazy, but if it doesn't..... :)

Once in a crowded elevator in the old Transamerica building downtown, a strange smelled engulfed the room. Everyone look around to find the source but found nothing. There was no sound just the smell. Everyone was so freaked out that they all left the elevator at the floor. Ghost fart is what they called it.

Bumping this old thread too, nothing chills the mind like an old fashioned ghost story.
Anytime I rode near a cemetery, especially those large ones along Washington in East LA when I was temporarily stationed in Montebello, I always gazed at them when riding to and from a ride.
There were a few occasions where I would be hauling ass back to the truck to take a load home and it would be shrouded in fog all through those areas.
I always envisioned this macabre image of energy using the fog to materialize into a physical presence.
The creepy thing was that I would usually be the only one out there for stretches of time.

Great thread.
My nana tells me she believes in ghosts because of something that happened when I was a baby.
She said I was months old lying on a blanket on the ground, she left the room, and when she returned, I was lying, blanket spread out and all on the bed too high for me to climb.
Although, she's kinda nutty.

Long time ago, when I was cruising the local watering holes. My friend and I were driving to from one hole to the next in LB, and we saw this dude with white painted face and all in white ride by us in the neighborhood. My friend told me he sees the guy every once in awhile. I only saw him one other time. The guy was kinda tripy looking. He looked like he was in his 50s or 60s.

My friend and I actually had a weird experience last week at the Rosedale cemetery that is by Venice and Normandie. As we were riding along we started hearing voice-like noises so we stopped and tried to listen. At first we heard what sounded like mumbling, first we thought maybe it was the wind or the sound of the cars from the other side but as we drove a little further we could hear actual conversations going on. At that point I was literally shitting bricks because I was not sure what the hell was going on in there. I can assure you though that that no one was in that cemetery because we shined our lights in there but we didnt see anyone.

Perhaps y'all should place a voice-activated recorder in the middle of the cemetery.
This way, you could pick up some actual evidence without the interference of living people trotting near the gates and perimeter wall after hours.

Go in during the day, set it up, then pick it back up the next day.
Hell, if I was down there I'd go in, but if I come back out talking with an old-timey accent and glowing eyes, get the Super Soaker with the Holy water.
