Sorry if I stirred up trouble with the whole User1/Puck thing. I was just giving Allan shit. I still luv him...
I think we are all stressed because of the stealing and the negative vibes going around.
I hope we can all focus in on riding and having fun. Everybody has different personalities and we don't always get along. I think we just need to be respectful and support all the rides that are going on in LA. From Amboy to 328 to Barchops. Let's be supportive.
If there is a new group that is doing something douchey - Just ignore them and focus on the good things going on. No need to spread flames. It is infectious. Let's spread the LOVE like RB says.

That reminds me of this one time, I forgot which ride, where a guy passed by in a car when we were going up a hill, and he shouted out a car "SHUT YOUR GEARS UP!"
It was so funny it didn't matter that he was in a car.

I'm happy things have mellowed out a bit.
It really bums me out with things get all personal and mean here.
I'm all about people being honest and up front about their feelings.
Its one of the beauties of the internets no? But making personal attacks is the last thing we need.
I definitely feel for the organizers and the stress they are going through. I bugged out a few times while I was organizing the toy ride.
I remember somebody posted a fake santa ride with a ridiculous map. I figured it was in response to all the ACTR threads and ride postings. And just to make fun of how much everybody was posting about it.
I never told anyone but it kinda bummed me out. It just seemed like somebody was just making fun of all the hard work when a lot of us were busting our asses to make it happen. At the end I just decided that it was so silly and absurd that it wouldn't really confuse anybody. But at first, through the cloud of stress, it did feel like a rude dis.
(everybody thinks that they are the center of the universe. )
So I definitely understand in the heat of organizing how so many people could get so mad at User1. I think I made that clear.
At the same time it really made me sick to my stomach that somebody decided to go the route of projecting violent fantasies about User1. I really think there is no place for that on MR.
If there was any confusion about my statement "this is a community not a courtroom". I was just saying that arguing technicalities and semantics if the information given (the name Puck Killer and the video of a man being beaten by a mob) some how officially constitute a threat or an implied threat.
I was just saying that its not something that needs to be proven if the majority of people here read or perceive those messages as to imply a violent threat. Its not about what can be proven but what we perceive as a group.
Maybe I am the only one here that was truly offended by this.
I found it effing ridiculous (like lol ridiculous)to be accused of libeling an anonymous person working under a pseudonym.
I'm not sure that any of that necessarily belongs in this thread.
You'd have to look at "User1, why?" and "Blanket Party for Luser1" to know what I am talking about.
Anyway, I certainly apologize if my words this morning elevated the drama in any way.
To User1 I am sorry I disagree with you about the definition of a wagon and a van.
To Puck Killer if you are just a cuddly and playful hockey fan that harbors no violent fantasies toward user1 and i've completely mis read your intentions ... you do indeed deserve a sincere apology.
For those you who think I just take all this shit too seriously I apologize for that too.
For those who are bummed that i don't come out often enough I am sorry.
For those who are tired of reading this I am really sorry.
For those who like this but are sad it is over ...

I'm sorry if my multiple personalities offended you. I sincerely respect you and enjoy your company. I'm also sorry you thought less of me for posting a job listing on here. I was just trying to help people out in hard times. It actually pays an long term average of $10/hr cash under the table, but I didn't want to promise more than I knew I could deliver on a short term basis.

we drank for 12 hours and only left my living room for more booze and food. Ray, that was a major fail. that was one of the best weekends of my life. fucking crazy (in a good way). but u are forgiven for not coming. i actually did think "why didn't ray come?" a couple of times through out the 24 hours of straight hanging out.
