On the calendar for the 18th it says that crankmas is postponed and its just going to b a MR ride
If it is postponed when is it?

Yeah ur trippin....crankmas isn't postponed....MR accidently made a ride that day so they postponed there own ride just to ride crankmas

crankmas is an MR ride. without MR, there would never have been any crank mob.

Sort of. CRANK MOB grew out of SMCM initially. It was conceived during an SMCM, and it was initially ridden by SMCM riders and Cubs. It would have been a different beast for sure, but to say it wouldn't have existed is a stretch. To say all things inspired by, or partially supported by MR (the movement, the brand, the ride, or the site?) are MR things is ... what is that?

I still stand by the fact that the first MR "Swarm The Cascades" played a big part in its formation.
Tall-bikes, mini-bike jousting, all things I never encountered until setting foot in the Willamette Valley.

After the dis-ASS-ters that went down through 06/09-09/09 CRANK Mobs, I could see the need for the secretive delivery to an extent.
However, I do think this "secrecy-policy" is letting the brigands that are the major downfalls of certain rides, win.

But why not? Crankmas was on the calender last year, what makes this year different? Everyone who was on the ride last year knows it coming up, since its an annual thing. An annual bike event should be on the calender with all the other bike events. Especially since other rides are being canceled/postponed to make room for it.
*And I'm not saying this because I wasn't "invited." I did get the FB invite. I'm just surprised its not posted on the site given my understanding of why Crankmas exists after monthly rides of CRANK Mob were discontinued (publicly).

I'm guessing they won't tell the public what the start location is until the time is ripe, to keep law enforcement and other ne'er-do-wells off-kilter.
I've been looking forward to this all year, but I'm not part of the crowd that's cool enough to be invited. I'm going on a be-more-cool campaign to try and become cool enough to go on these extra cool rides before it's too late to find the CRANKMAS start locale!
