I NEED YOUR HELP!
I'm trying to find a photo of the bike route signs that used to be on Pico Blvd between the 405 and Century Park East.
This is the story -- almost three years ago I was involved in a collision with an automobile at the corner of Pico and Pelham and I am currently involved in a lawsuit. That section of Pico Blvd is what LA-DOT calls a Class III Bike Route, meaning they have little green signs to alert motorists that cyclists use that road. The signs have since been removed because I guess the city realized how bad that road is for cyclists. Now to help strengthen my case, I need a picture with one of those signs in it! I thought I had gone back and snapped some photos while the signs were up but now I can't find them. So now I'm desperately searching on Flickr and Google Images for some photo with one of those signs in the background. Does anyone have any photos taken on Pico Blvd (near Westside Pavillion) while those Bike Route signs were still up??? Please e-mail me at

You might want to check out the local fire station in that area. they have archives and pics of past and present and current changes...just don't mention your situation ;)
this may help...here's a 9 minute video of a guy walking in the rain on pico east from the 405 from january 2008. maybe you can match up signs that are in the video and what's missing now.
