 take sunset (bike lane= fast and fun) from echo park, then go left at fountain. THere is plenty of room for a cyclist until you hit cahuenga. so you can turn left (south) on any street around there to go down to willowby, it's about 5 blocks or so from fountain. turn right on willowby and that will take you to fairfax.
