Thought I would just start a generic thread on this. The person above is
Richard Feynman. Possibly Caltech's most celebrated physicists. Well known prankster, and if he was around today, I'm pretty sure he would be a rida.

Wanna make a ride out of this? I have an idea of how to get there, but I've never been there alone and I'd probably get lost.

I was thinking on doing this lecture. Just seeing if anyone else was interested. Since it's in the day time, should make a nice ride out there and back.

OK gang, a ride has been posted for the lecture on the Hubble Telescope at Caltech. This lecture includes some of the latest images taken in HD with the new lens. The best images ever seen!
All the info is posted on the ride page
here Couple things I'd like to emphasize. We meet at 1pm at the fountain at Union Station. A map is posted if you don't know where this fountain is at. We're on the train at 1:13pm Please don't be late. Finally it's $5 for the lecture, and $1.25 for train ride.

After the lecture, I'd like to vote to go to
this spot. It used to be a hippy commune, not sure what it is now. This was the first spot the Tuvan Throat Singers played when they first landed in California.
It's a bit of climbing, but the pay off could be big!

Last communique for 10/24 ride:
Be sure you get there early if you're not familiar with where you are going. I'll probably be at the fountain around 12:30pm. We'll be heading to platform 2, Gold Line train at 1pm. Train will be leaving at 1:13pm.
