This Friday is the L.A. Critical Mass (last Friday of the month). Meet at Wilshire & Western at 6 PM. They usualy don't leave 'till around 7 PM.

yeah same here, I'm gonna be downtown for most of the day, so I'll stay for the mass, anyone wanna do something after?
I mean mass ends early... anyone down to hunt out a good spot for some ghettodrome type action, maybe some just for fun mach sprints around a block or something? Play in a parking garage? Hill climbs up temple? I dunno... For some reason coming home early on a friday night seems lame...

I think in LA it should be dubbed the "not-so-critical mass". heh.

CM is always a good time and no one is ever ready to call if quits at 9. I'm down for some parking structure rides or pan pacific park pathway marathons afterwards.....or............

At the very least I'm down to ride my bike some, havent ridden much at all since saturday, I was sick sunday night into monday, and took it easy the last two days to make sure I got healthy, gonna ride a bit this afternoon, but yeah, i'm deffinately down to get back on my bike tomorrow.

They typically meet @ 6:0 and try to leave @ 6:30 but they're on BPT so a 7:00 departure wouldn't be shocking.

Talk about fun. That was the best LA Critical Mass I have been too and probadly the longest one. From the swings at Pan Pacific to all the other stops. The USC Toga party to the "Failure" street party, to Riding the red line home with all those bike in the trains. FUN FUN FUN
I only wish RideArc Alex would of caught the car on Alameda.

Of course there is something funnier then that, watching me run into a park car, but you missed that one. Thanks God I was wearing a helmet that day.

that was one of the most bizarre rides i had ever been on, and it was great! strange launch though. did anyone else get harassed by the rider who was passing out the pink and white valley ride flyers, who almost became enraged if you said that you didn't want to participate in the valley ride? bad attitude, dude! boo on you!

sprained wrist... from falling over in the middle of an empty parking lot, with no one within 50 feet of you... if you'dve fallen like, 5 seconds later, I was just getting ready to take a picture in that direction... we could've had an action shot.... however, as I ran over to see if you were ok, I never took the shot
Oh, and anyone else think that random pile of glop (vomit?) with all the roaches was gross as shit?

It's not vomit, nor glop, it's actually that "Muchies" mix that Doritos (R) Brand makes. However, having throw that shit up before, I can tell you that it doesn't look a whole lot different the 2nd time hahah.

Shit...that is a BAD injury for bike people. Sorry it happened, man. The same thing happend to me last year. I sprained both of my wrists in the last teacher v.s. student softball game at the end of the school year. I was off of my bike for almost two months...I couldn't even turn the knob on my bedroom door for a couple of days. It's okay, though....I caught the winning catch before I knew how badly hurt I was. Get well, mang.

Don't think I was making fun of you and discounting your injury. That kind of stuff is never fun, and I don't like to see that happen to anyone, no matter how they did it. Whether on bicycle or any other way.
I hope your healing happens quickly. To you and your socks. (and that wig, and your car's front middle red light, that goes back a fourth)

I didnt see it the first time around, but I swung back there to put up one of my signs about two hours later, the thing was moving with roaches and didnt much resemble anything that hadn't been previously digested...

So, what about THIS friday, what're people doin? we've got Ride ARC which has yet to be announced as to the where and when, there's SM CM, but that's kinda out of the way for a lot of people, there's bike ditch way up at the back end of the valley...
So, anyone got any amazing ideas?
Considering this week we have 3 events on a tuesday night... I'm sure someone can think of something to do on a friday...
