Hey guys,
I have nitto RB-018 bullhorn bar on my fixie, but I want to switch to RB-021 which is pursuit shape cuz I do only riding and need to make more speed. Anyone has RB-021, please give me some review of it. Thanks.
That is, it recognizes the mechanical idea of balance between energy furnished and work returned, but it recognizes also that unpreventable losses occur in every cycle of operation or transformation, and it does not charge these against the efficiency of the process or the agent which must work in that cycle.
The pursuit of efficiency thus becomes a diligent effort to discover and remove preventable losses and wastes so that the largest returns may be secured for the least expenditure.

"why can't people be nice to beginner? "
What you dont understand, and its understandable, is that they are being nice to you. Essentially everyone is saying... dont go there... you dont need it beginner.

like junes said, if you're going for all out speed you need an aero helmet and a skinsuit and the stiffest bicycle possible...
skip the aluminum and get carbon...
stiffer and lighter
if you're looking for a certain style, that's fine, but I don't think shifting from the RB 018 to the RB 021 will make much of a difference...if it's going to drop you down 5 mm it'll make a little aerodynamic difference, but you can do that by lowering your stem....
usually, the more quick your setup, the more uncomfortable your ride, so take that into account
and the lower your position, the more uncomfortable the ride...if you want to go fast, your back should be flat...but most people won't want to be in that position for city riding...
and you probably don't want that aero helmet...
he was being sarcastic, but honest...he was trying to make the point that you probably don't need to geek it out so much, if you're a beginner rider
he's making the point about not using them in the street, because that's not what they're designed for
If you want to go faster on your fixie, you can fix that a lot more by swapping cogs until you find the one that's fastest at your preferred cadence than you can by swapping handlebars.
The bigger the chainring and the smaller your cog, the more times your rear wheel will go around per one revolution of the crank.
If you go too far, it'll be a pain to get up hills and start from stoplights, but if you find the right gear, you will have a faster top speed.
