I have a better idea than brassknuckles. Carry a ulock it's a much better weapon against bike thieves.

Great description on the bike. If you didn't have the vishal pictures you gave a mental picture in my mind.
@lock enthusiast. Give the kid a break he thought it was safe. Of course he learned a hard lesson here.
Whatever you do when you catch the thief don't tell Alex Thompson about it!

Can't seem to put your bike anywhere without a lock these days now.
Too many lazy fucking people out there with no desire to get a job or go to school.
All these thieves care to do with their lives is to find someone elses property to take home and jerk off all over it.
So yes, carry a lock, bring it inside or do anything in your full blown power to keep it from falling into the hands of some horny thief!!

His bike did get stolen. Are you laughing yet?
But yeah... in this day and age you've gotta lock up your bike everywhere you go. Just learn from it and move on. I'll keep my eyes open for it.

We get it he didn't lock it up. Saying it once is a good reminder to everyone but harping on about it makes you look like an asshat.
Get a bike and ride.

@nightestrida and/or sharkboi
You guys post a lot of crap on this forum, but it sucks to get a bicycle stolen. I'm in burbank over half of the week, so it won't hurt to keep a look out for it.
If I see the bike, I'll try to get some info and post.

The only arguement here is you thinking that a lock will not prevent bikes from being stolen
