i see this sort of thing, and pessimism sits in, i don't feel that this is a very effective way
however what i do feel would be effective would definitely be illegal and result in involved parties being tried as "terrorists" for certain lol, wheeee!
Believe me, this is not the way. Been there, done that.
All it produces is negative sentiment from the majority of viewers. The only way to make observable change is to show the majority a pure and non-confrontational message. Allow them to believe in you and what you stand for instead of attempting to shove it down their throats like they already have likely done to you.
From my experience, it is possible, it just needs to be done correctly.
Here's how to do it correctly. Wear a suit, be polite, and generally act like you're someone who deserves to be taken seriously, and not a child throwing a tantrum.

Shall the ladiezz wear hoop skirts and bustles, and can we all ride to the demonstrations on pennyfarthings? As long as we're lapsing into anachronistic fantasy here, we might as well have fun with it.

would it be illegal for civilians to be equiped with riot gear?

The protest on 9/12/09 was a peacefull march involving several million
yet the media portrayed it as a small demonstration of republican red necks
when in fact it was people from across the board, who not only where there
against health care, but govt. policies in general.
Most people do not get what is really going on.
Our govt has become compleatly corupt and is run by overseas banks and corps.
Saddly to say our president seems to be on the dole as well.
Why are we still in Afganastan and Iraq ?
Why is the Federal reserve allowed to bankrupt us ?
Why is the patriot act still in affect ?
i did some work with ELF and FNB and it was kinda radical but not alot of protesting, i'd really like to go protest the war, but gee golly i dont even know where to get started, i knew friends who were apart of ELF and FNB so it was a foot in the door situation but i dont really know anyone that do antiwar protests or anti war anything... give me a starting point!
seems like the video wont play?
Could just be me but
this video has some serious power and i want someone to watch it
so heres the url

There's a group of war protesters that show up every Friday at Belmont Shores. Incredibly they've been showing up there protesting the war ever since it started. You can find them there in front of the bank in the evenings.

the arrest at g-20 was sent to me in an email last week by a fellow member or FNB and i saw this and the video sparked me to return to this forum with the videos of olympia and on this mission to find out more.
