We only had three people show up for the game at LA High on Sunday. But it seems like a perfect spot to play, and is also in a fairly central location, so let's try to play here regularly on Sundays. And let's continue playing at Santa Monica Pier on Wednesday nights. Based on the time schedules of people who have been showing up, these seem to be the best times:
Wednesday, 8pm, Santa Monica Pier parking lot.
Sunday, 4pm, LA High tennis courts.
We'll plan on playing every week at these times. Speak up if you prefer a different time or place.
We'll post a call the night before or day of each game on this forum so we can make sure that we have enough people to play each week (i.e., if at least four people post and say they will show up, game on).
We also have an email list of polo if you want to get on it (email mgvidal@gmail.com).
We've moved the regular time for Sundays to 11am at LA High. You can always check here for regular updates to when and where we are playing: http://labikepolo.org/.
We're going to check out the new spot tonight. It's Woodbine park, right next to LAB on Motor Ave. The address is 3409 Vinton Avenue; it's at Vinton and Woodbine, one block east of Motor. We'll meet at LAB at 7pm, and then head over when everyone gets there. LAB is at 3314 Motor Ave.
We didn't try Mar Vista Park last week because of the rain and we wanted to make sure to get some games in quickly. But let's try it for sure this week. If you don't see us at Woodbine, we're at Mar Vista Park (head west on Palms for 1.5 miles).
I guess that the Woodbine court is just too close to LAB and convenient, so we've never made it to Mar Vista park and I don't think we will. Game on at Woodbine! 7pm.
you still have my number in your phone right, the 503 area code?
