I have to relist these due to a non exsistant high bidder. One of the greatest pains that we face on Ebay are people who bid and have no intention of paying. This is what happened to me. These wheels speak for themselves. Please bid only if you are serious .
As you already know , I am selling a set of Topolino C 19, 700 Shimano road rims. They are from my collection. I used these for my every day riding . When I got the chance.
I have several sets of wheels and 4 road bikes ,everything from Zipps to Spinergy and Dura Ace. Why am I selling these ? Good question . BECAUSE MY WIFE TOLD ME TO !! You see I have two sets of Topolino’s . The set I currently own , and the set that I just ordered. I ordered the AX 3.0 30 mm rim. (just wanted to try them).
Now, this is how the wife comes in. I stupidly got up to use the bathroom and left the computer on the checkout page of the web site I was on. When I came back ,the wife was sitting there staring at the screen. I froze and waited for the verbal berating that was sure to happen. NOTHING ! She turned, looked at me, (I mean she turned her body , not the Omen thing where her head turned around backwards), (but a normal turn). Looked extremely evil ! Then smiled ! I didn’t know what to do ! If I hadn’t just went to the bathroom maybe a little might have came out ! NOW I WAS SCARED ! She got up and slowly walked out of the room. Never making eye contact. That is when the the shaking started. I forgot to mention my wife hates my bikes !! Anything bike related , I MEAN ANYTHING WITH BIKES!!!! Good she went downstairs. I think she is in the kitchen ? I close out the page and try to find something that she would like on the internet and order it for her, so that I could show it to her when she comes back up. She walks right by the room and into the bedroom. I pay no mind to it. But after a few minutes I hear her in the doorway behind me. I turn to see her. WOW !! She has on , or does not have on the greatest nightgown I have ever seen. All of the blood rushes out of my head and into other parts of my body. And I become instantly stupid. I had better put on the greatest performance of my life. Because the next few weeks of living hinges on this night. The score 2 to zero. I was superb ! I did things that I didn’t know I was capable of (because of the bike riding) and just when I was about to reach my , how you say culmination ? I pushed myself up, made all of the faces, arms started to shake , then, WHAM !! A bright blue flash ! Then nothing. I never saw the skillet. I guess she hid it under her pillow. When I awoke, I was lying between the bed and the nightstand, one leg still on the bed, the other wrapped in the sheets dangling. I made my way slowly down the stairs , and there was my breakfast and a note . EITHER THE BIKES GO OR ME !!!!
I will start to sell some of the stuff but slowly very very slowly. These are some of the most comfortable wheels you will ever ride. Road vibration will be greatly diminished . These wheels are some of the most technical wheels you will ever own ! Just go to Topolinos website and read up on them . Read how road racers and tri athletes love them . The Gucci Factor is off the hook ! You might get tired of the constant questions that you will get about them.
My greatest fact that I can swear to is the fact that there is little to no rolling resistance . I ride with a guy who swears by Zipps . We were coasting down a hill talking ,when I had to keep hitting my brakes to stay with him! I actually saw him pedal a few times to stay with me ! When I realized this I brought it to his attention , and both of us just coasted . I immediately picked up speed and just rolled away from him. I got almost ten feet ahead and he pedaled up to me and just stared at the wheels. Can you feel the hate ?
Shipping is about $40 the box weighs more than the wheels. Make sure that you read all of the tech information and the testimonials on the site. The weight of these wheels and strength is amazing !!
And yes I do have a bike room . Can this be the problem ?
