Monday Night Rehab Every 1st 3rd and 5th monday of each month s it doesn't conflict with bike n bake.
North Hollywood Red Line Station at 8:15 ride at 8:30.
Or if you're looking to ride fast, Bicykillers every thursday

has the bike lane on victory from about cahuenga to empire always been there??? I was driving through there the other night and I had never noticed it or its new. it looked new. is burbank beginning to show bike love???

Me and some other riders do a loop from eagle rock to burbank to the la river and back to eagle rock! also Barchopz is really close by burbank! it's on the schedule!

YES!!! The new bike lane is great. I watched them paint it on while I was on my bike. Happiness.

yeah i have been riding glen oaks up to burbank and they have repaved some of the roads and painted and yes they have a bike lane!

my experiences with burbank cops while i was on a bike have never been negative. i don't think i've ever really encountered a cop there while riding.
in a car though, i've been detained for nothing for over 20 minutes. so i know they'll look for anything if they really wanna make a case.

bicykillers ran a red light near victory and verdugo right in front of a cop and he just got on the loudspeaker and was all "wait for the lights guys" before driving off.

mondays - bikenbake/monday night rehab
tuesdays - tuesday night special/sfvcm
wednesdays - wndsrs
thursdays - bicykillers
fridays - friday night delight
theres nothing short of rides in the 818 on weekdays.
and living in burbank pretty much guarantees that from whereever you go in the valley, your return trip will be slightly downgrade.

Start a burbank ride.
Oh, and fridays are usually open now... Rikk doesn't really put on Friday Night Delight anymore.
So now you have a date. Come up with a sick ass route, very few stops and you got yourself a ride.
And I'm with RBI... I'm getting tired of having to either ride back or just meander the streets for long periods of time until the trains start running (shitty spokes, shitty tires, matter of fact shitty everything at this point)

yeah, I had one do the same when I blew through a stop sign the other day: "stop signs are for bikes, too".
and we had a cruiser follow us on hollywood way for a nert way ride once, i pocketed the can of beer i was carrying, and he just kept telling us, for two miles, to stay to the right. we just kept riding 2 abreast telling him it gave us better visibility and he gave up rather than hassle us. i think his shift was over and there was no traffic.
