just wanted to say THANKS YOU AWESOME BIKERZ to all that came! we had our biggest group yet this week and it was the first time we ran out of spoke cards. We also thought is was FUCKIN AWESOME that we were able to pick up about 6 randomm bikers along the way by yelling "COME WITH US"....The beach party ride was a blast as well and we thank you for having us! The Bike God was cool....i have never seen a bike like that in real life before....so for the last time THANKS TO EVERYONE!!!!!!

Hey there!
Good seeing you guys again. Nice riding with you on LACM too.
I have one thing i'm struggling with and not sure what everyone thinks.
I was a passenger in a car yesterday and we were driving down Ventura Blvd.- Cahuenga South towards Hollywood near Barham and i saw a Mom Ridaz Spray painted on the side of a building. My driver isn't in the bike scene, so i didn't say anything so i just smiled to myself thinking, hey, i know those guys! but then i thought more about it.
I know there have been threads on here about tagging but i don't know exactly how i feel about it. I'm all for freedom of expression and non-censorship, etc. but i am also thinking about the good name of Midnight Ridazz (as good as it can be) and how outsiders may see us. Falls into the same category as 'leaving no trace' We may not be loved by everyone, but i'd like to think they can never say, we trashed the place or left the place full of litter and beer cans. Same with tagging. Although Mom Ridazz aren't the MR, we all are part of the night time cycling community and non-cyclists aren't going to care or don't understand the difference. They are just going to see the tag and lump us all together - plus the closeness of spelling Ridazz /Ridaz is easy to confuse.

no no it is understandable...one peoson makes the whole group look bad i know....but here is the funny thing:

we saw it as we were riding home one night a month back...we get a lot of comments about that...I don't know who did it*** ...we think it is cool but i understand your concerns. I will try to stress to the group that tagging is not cool esp in some areas where the cops are against us...I thank you for the concern...we really don't want to be the bad apples of the group makein' people look bad...

i stoped carrying beer in the basket for two reason:
#1--COPS
#2--it weighs too much and the basket broke last time (thanks Fuzzbeast for helping me fix it)...i can only hold like 5 cans now

it's up to you....but this happened a few months back with the gnarzilla guys....i think they said someone else painted this below and i don't recall if they painted over it.....couldn't hurt to paint over the tag that someone else did with your groups name. like i said, it's up to you...

hell yes. if not, I'll probably call, but I think you guys are the perfect group so far (at least for me)- slow, CLOSE AS FUCK (that Ralphs is seriously down the street from my house)- small, and good timing.

and groovy about the spoke cards...i am almost doen with them...they are funny and pirate themed! i alway get them laminated (yeah i know spelling) when i get to the meet spot...the guy at kinkos across the street hooks me up with a deal

yes our ride this week will be the same but this time we are going to the lotus festival in echo park (which is one of the stops anyways) still looking to see what ride to join up with at night though...any suggestions on where we want to go???

im telling you the spoke(n) art ride in highland park is pretty cool and mellow... it ends at the bike oven... i dont know if you guys go that far but its only about 9 miles from sunset and western... you get to see art exhibits ... they do ride out at 7pm though... just a suggestion...

the batman ride: our ride same route but once we get to downtown we continue to HLP (possably watch the DARK KNIGHT) and have a biker party/ batman movie night at the MOM RIDAZ pad where we watch all 5 batman movies Blaze and drink

Thanks to everyone that came on the ride this week...we started at 420, went to the robot ride duck CRANK MOB ride, got back to DTLA at 7am...y'all are TROOPERS...it was a crazy night : Lotus Festival, Dead Bodies, Midgets riding tallk bikes, Sidewalk Chalk and crayons, ect ect...
And thanks China and Mya from bringin' the AMP for music!!!

Hahaha- I didn't even drink much. Yeah, my arm hurts too, but I think I got a bruise from my bag. And on my way to the train to meet up with you guys in Hollywood, I crashed into a fence because of that stupid amp. Hahaha.
