My bandmate B-Rad and I depart Venice Beach on the morning of July 5th for a 5,000+ mi., three-month bicycle tour to Brooklyn, NY. We are entirely self-funded and self-supported. We have no obligations and no agenda other than to continue our on-going worship of the lords of F.U.N.

If you havent seen us perform, our band Funderstorm is a reflection of the insane incongruous explosive sexy energy of the Los Angeles bicycle scene. We have an entire set/album based on our bicycle-lives here, and made all thre tracks for The Crimanimals' Freeway Videos. We are touring with everyone in our hearts and a spirit to share..

i just wanted to say little goodbye to the most inspiring rewarding loving open creative sexy people I have ever known: that's everyone that's reading this. Let me kiss your sweaty forehead: Midnight Ridazz, Cubcamp, Los Angelopes, CRANK Mob, Wetside, Ridazz Road Trips, Ridge Way, Wolfpack, West Side, Eastside, The Valley, Tren Way, Ridazz here now, past and future. Yeehaw.

This thread can be a sort of fill-in for us. We are keeping a blog, and I hope to get every chance I can to post here.

Man, I have to hand it to you guys....you have a long road ahead of you. Maybe this will be the hardest, and most rewarding thing you've done in you lives. I fully support what you are doing. And, I find it inspiring. Just looking at this list of dates above makes me reflect on how huge this will be.

For example, how many people who are riding across the states include Ouray, CO? I can imagine, very few. I used to vacation in that town in the summers as a little kid. It's way up in the tallest part of the Colorado Rockies...part of this small town is abve the tree line. It is so high up in the Rockies, that trees stop growing due to a lack of oxygen in the thin atmosphere.

It seems pretty clear that you guys haven't compromised or cut corners in planning the route for the ride. I'm proud of you for that. I will be keeping up with your progress and hoping every leg of the trip is fun and rewarding. Have a blast!

skip hanksville, Utah (a total shithole) and stay in Torrey, Utah (much nicer), instead, then get up in the morning and ride through Capitol Reef N. P., which is gorgeous.

Also, get the green chile chicken enchiladas at the cafe overlooking the canyon outside of Boulder on Hwy 12. It's probably called the overlook cafe or something. It is a gorgeous spot and the enchiladas rock. I used to head to that area twice per year for the amazing motorcycling. Hwy 12 is just stunning from bottom to top and then back to the bottom again.

Contact me when you are closer to Torrey and I can arrange for you to sleep in someone's spare room, get a home cooked meal and a shower.

Seriously! It's not like I haven't heard about this Freedom Check trip y'all gots goin on... and yet having it all spelled out, city by city, gives me chills! It's totally inspiring.... I am so proud of you guys! My wish is that you fun-freak faces all across the country and in return you guys get all the love that we would give you here!!! I am pretty darn sure that is going to happen anyway, but I am wishing you guys all the best and be safe and change your socks and eat lots of stuff.... and send postcards.... and XOXOXOXOOX!!! and F.U.N!!! Hey, GIR is a sweetheart, and princess is just misunderstood.
What needs to be understood is that she only likes Asian men. She MIGHT tolerate others, but only when she wants to, and your access pass can be taken away for no reason whatsoever, at any moment, and may be returned at any moment for no reason whatsoever (although holding food helps)
