So I was looking at the calendar a couple days ago, and I realized there are two big events I really wanted to go to on the same goddamned day.
East Hollywood Art Cycle! <-- and Bicycle District block party with live music and Scoops.
ROB070700707TZ Ride! <-- also AT's birthday, shhhhhh, surprise.
I thought I'd have to choose. But no! The ROB0700700707Z Ride is going far afield this month — they're hopping on the Purple line at Wilshire & Western, then the Gold Line to Pasadena.
But hey whoah look: The train station they're biking to, Wilshire & Western, is not that far from the Bicycle District! It's like they PLANNED IT.
AT says they'll be at the Wilshire & Western stop at 10:15. Let's go!

I've been looking forward to robotz for more than a month... I have an overstock of adrenaline that needs to be released and robotz is the only way.
Plus, it's AT's birthday too, so those of you in this thread starting shit: please check yourself and have some respect! The guy works his ASS off trying to make biking in LA a better experience, and people are starting drama? Seriously? Come up with all the sarcastic remarks you want, he's one hell-of-a rida and LA would be nowhere near the same without him here making shit happen day in and day out.
Factor in all of the generous contributions he's made for years, how many people he has vouched for, how many new people he has brought into the scene by himself, how many people he has helped deal with the legal system, how many times he has been the front man to dealing with cops, and how many times he's made you laugh, and then tell me that it's appropriate to start some drama bullshit.
I heard from a bird that robotz is going to be the best ever this month (how it keeps getting better, it boggles my mind), and I have absolutely no idea what's in store (I'd rather be surprised anyway). All I know is, I can't wait to find out. Best. Ride. Evar. (In the world X infinity X futurethrusters X hairballer status 2.0)

i originally planned for robotz being on the second saturday of the month, so when i got tickets for the concert i didn't think it would conflict
i wish i could go to robotz but i have these tickets.
and then betalevel- just thought some people might want to join after robotz
i don't know what the plans are for AT's bday but i think it's AWESOME that it's AT's bday and everyone should definitely be excited and ready to PARTAY. it's also stephanie's bday bash. too many birfdays!!

I also feel like Robots is some TV show or something. People are always saying how it gets better every month or what happened last month, and I feel like I missed a whole season of the show or something because I've only been to two or three Robotz.
