the relationship he had with poison ivy was one of those that would have lasted forever, or whatever, you know? two people who just get along so well.

I was just talking to a friend about the short life span of rock stars, and I mentioned Bryan Gregory, the Cramps original bass player.
He died at age 46 from some worn out part in his body. Heart attack, I think.
Hell, Lux made it to 60!
I saw them in 1980.The way they performed is not good for the body over an extended period of time.

Thank goodness Johnny Rotten (Lydon) is taking it easy and selling butter (that's right folks he is the butter spokesman) on the telly in England.
Though too much butter could be fatal.

Yeah, I saw birthdates of 1948 and 1946 myself.
And this from Wkikipedia:
"In honor of the excess of The Cramps, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has on display a shattered bass drum head that Lux's head went through during a live show."

"Bryan Gregory, the Cramps original bass player."
One small correction CT: in addition to Ivy Rorschach, Gregory also played guitar. One of the unusual things about the Cramps' lineup was that they had two guitar players and no bass player.
