So - remember Bush v. Gore. Man, we got fucked over as a country. I remember in 04, when we all thought we would rectify things a little bit and get Kerry, and then Bush cheated it up in Ohio etc, and won it again.
Speaking of cheating - during the 04 campaign I would always go running through rich ass Cheviot Hills. There was this one house - and the guy had a Bush/Cheney 04 sign on his lawn. So I took it. And then he put out another one. I took that one. And then he put out another one. I took it.
Then he put out one with weird green goo all over it. I took that too.
I remember a year later when I was dating a girl and she found all my Bush/Cheney trophies. She gave me this look like she had just found a box full of kiddie porn, and I had to explain why I had them.
Anyhow,

My favorite part of the whole thing - this guy has undocumenteds who maintain his manicured lawn and garden. The picture of a wealth inequity loving hypocrite. What a shithead. McCain - stay out of LA.

Up on Mulholland Dr., there's a house that has the biggest fucking McCain sign I've ever seen. I've passed by it a few times and thought how awesome it would be if someone replaced it with an Obama sign of equal size. It surely wouldn't last long, but it would be a good prank.
on another note, I was watching C-Span and saw a Nader speech. The man talks some shit!! I like him but he is just not elect-able in this system unfortunately. the fucking media is killing our country.
It's the system that breeds the results. As long as you have a system where winner takes all, you're going to have two parties representing most of the people. As you can see, big business flourishes with corruption in this system.

First, are all of you REGISTERED to vote? Secondly, IF so, do you plan on voting? Because you know your demographic doesn't usually show up at the polls. So I ask you, do you think taking signs is really doing a service to our election process. What REALLY matters is when you show up to make your opinion count at the voting booth.
Hippies don't vote - if they did, Humphrey would have beat me in '68. Heck, in '72, I made the DEA take the last two weeks of October off - the price of pot fell to under a buck a pound and I won 49 states. Think about that next time somebody offers you free weed - it could be a McCain staffer figuring you'll be too stoned to find your polling place on election day.

This sounds like the fake liberal propaganda the media uses to shift perception and justify the corporate fascist policies supported by both democratic and republican parties. Also; Ron Paul/Dennis Kucinich are anti-war. Obama/McCain are not.. It's simple, if the US continues this imperialistic foreign policy these social, human rights, and environmental protections you speak of will be lost anyway.
Kucinich was the bomb. The democrats and republikkkans keep people like Ron paul and Kucinich around to cater to "party extremists" and fringe independant elements. but neither party takes them seriously and they wouldnt have their voice in the media if they ran as independants. Paul is an isolationist when it comes to foreign policy, which I can respect. Kucinich is a social liberal which I am in tune with. I lean way more towards Kucinich because he is pro working class. Paul not so much.

Nice oxymoron. Paul and Kucinich are polar opposites except for their stance on the war. I'd vote for Kucinich any day. And the fact that Paul is a complete reactionary has nothing to do with fake liberal propaganda. Read his freakin' platform.
You can't change a system by supporting it. Any vote for any party in a flawed two party system as ours, is a vote for enslaving ourselves in that system.
Be a revolutionary. Don't vote.
I'm waiting for a vote to have California succeed from the US. I'd vote for that.
