MY BIKE STOLEN @ Food4Less

My bicycle was stolen just over 2 hours ago from right in front of Food For Less on Sunset. Right in front of the face of the security guard too!
I bought a bag of chips, 3 avocados for a dollar, 5 roma tomatoes, 2 oranges and a bottle of cheap vodka. Wasn't worth it.
It's a 2007 Specialized Allez with rough grey paintjob over original red paintjob - (instantly recognizable as the grey's chipping off & red spots are showing thru), fancy black touring rims & Armadillo tires.
It was my best friend & only transportation.
...No I didn't have my fucking U-Lock...
It was a heavy duty Kryptonite cable lock tho, whoever jacked it MUST have picked the lock.
Try to keep an eye out on the streets 4 it please.
If anyone leads me to it I have a $100 reward for you.

small avocados are better. It's hard to use up a big one in one day and if you don't they get all brown and shit. I eat avocados like my life depends on it so that is an amazing deal. I pay $1 for one at the damn farmers market....of course they are some damn good 'cados

No dude, they used bolt cutters, because even Kryptonite cable locks are worthless against a decent set of bolt cutters.
Please people, STOP USING CABLE LOCKS.
No matter how short the stop is, if it's going to be more than ten seconds (or about twice as much time as it takes to cut a cable lock and ride away), you need to take your bike with you or use a U-lock.
Do a thread search for "stolen bike" or "bike stolen" on this forum, and see how many bikes have been lost because cable locks are worthless.

My parents told me the tree was there when they moved there about 20 years ago,yeah its fully grown and produces large quanitys of avacados

Thanks, I won't be there, but you'll probably have other customers... seriously, where's the food co-ops at? We need to get these things rollin for when we run out of oil! ;)

yeah, i'm monkey's unkle for not having my u-lock.
i lose
(again for the 7th time - that many bikes stolen in 5 years)
but still, i can't forgive these rat bastard lowlife thieves.
because of this i'm going to take a sabbatical from riding for a while.
i'm finally too burnt on getting my shit stolen and/or mutilated every few months.
i'm buying a car from a friend for $1000.
maybe i'll get back into riding once i got way too fat.
for now though, I quit.

I only have a similar stock photo...
2007 Specialized Allez:
-painted flat/dark grey, paint's chipping off -exposing original safety red paintjob. Can't miss it!
-56" compact/angled alluminum frame
-low rim-count black touring rims
-newish red/black armadillo tires
-brand new black Shimano crank
-bright red pedals!
-newly re-taped black dropbars
-brake handles angled towards the center at a 45 degree angle, NOT pointing straight upward!
-black Specialized saddle
-black drinkholder
-rubber front light, very small red tail light
-heavest duty (err) grey Kryptonite cable lock

I want some avocados. I was actually set to make a girl at work (a really cute nerdy one) an avocado salad... some onion (very little just to get that kick) some chopped tomatoes... mixed in with some salt and fresh cheese (queso ranchero fresco) little bit of lemon... some tostadas... and voila... bomb ass dish.
I went out to the east coast a couple years back, northern virginia/washington dc area and I hadn't been back out there for years... well, I walk into a subway and I order a coldcut trio.... and to top it off I ask the lady to put some aguacate. She straight up looks at me and starts laughing and talks to her co-worker whispering god knows what... and I ask them what's so funny and she casually says "oh avocados are seasonal around here." so much for southern hospitality.
