Free bikes? You want free bikes? We just gave away a bunch at the Bike Oven yesterday. They flew out the door as soon as we opened up. We ran out, but we will be having free bike days again. Watch Craig's for the announcement.

What did the craigslist ad say? It's apparently now "Flagged for removal".

The Craig's ad was not flagged. I deleted it late Saturday because we had run out of the free bikes. Here is the original ad copy:
"Beat the rainy day blues and come in to get your FREE bike this
weekend at the Bike Oven. We will have specially tagged BMX,
mountain, and kid's bikes available free - one per customer, first
come first served. No strings attached, pick out a free bike and take
it away. Or, for our regular donation of $5 per hour, use our space,
workstand, and tools to fix up your free bike. We will even supply
whatever technical assistance is necessary to help you get your bike the way you want it. "

When is the next event? and where? Or will there even be anymore?

Elina,
I would suggest visiting the Bike Oven, Bike Kitchen or Bikerowave - whichever is closest. Also, friends, garage sales & craigslist are good sources - but I'd suggest visiting one of these places first.
