FLASH HELP

OK i know this isn't a ride or anything, but my day job is making me do a flash animation. I got it all dialed in, but i cant figure out how the hell to link the pictures in my thing to a URL (the most crucial part of this mission). I converted them to symbols (graphic) and im trying to use the getURL action command. The Shit don't work. IF ANY OF YOU guys (or gals) knows how to do this, and can show me on a computer or something (I'm sure its real easy im just missing one stupid button) I would be like, mega grateful. I can pay u in beers and bike parts perhaps.
HALP!!
I know its not a ride and hopefully i wont have ask for non ride help in the future, but I'm really in a bind here.

It's not a ride, probly should've made that more clear in my post. If i cant figger this out, my job wont let me take time off to go to PDX to compete in the Oregon State Polo Championships, so it does affect riding, in a roundabout way.

Using Get URL command, the object can be linked to a different location. By selecting a button, from the flash movie, if we want to navigate to another application and it can be made with the help of Get URL command.
Syntax : get URL (url[,window [, variables]]);
URL - The location to which the link has to be made is specified in the URL text box.
Window - an argument which specifies in which window the document should open.
_self - specifies current frame in current window.
_blank - specifies a new window.
_parent - specifies the parent of current frame.
_top - specifies the top frame of current window.

I basically suck at programming. I been copying and pasting code form all over the place and cant get anywhere. Matt do you make housecalls? Im sure if i saw over your shoulder how to do this it'd work. I have cool bike parts...

Cereal people im a lil desperate here, and I know a gang of ya'll are in the d-zine biz. I wouldnt ask for yer help and subsequently damage my Rida credibility by asking for this help here for no reason. But yeah take this opportunity to give me a hard time, Ive been there. sorry dude, i too haven't touched flash since my 2nd year of college. My employer recently told us he wants us all to learn it too... which sucks balls. Flash was the reason I stuck to print design in school.

yeah EXACTLY this shit is waay complicated (and print is waay cooler). I mean if i have to go on CL to do this I guess im gonna have to even though I know its some small time thing.

Just wanted to bump this thread to say thanx for all those that halped me I needed it major. In the end Phillip Dillon, formerly of the LA Brakeless Polo squad and currently calling shots in Tulsa's Polo scene, wound up linking my .FLA for me so MAJOR props to him, and also all the haters who busted my chops for starting this thread in the first place.
