I really believe that.
NY's cool and all, and the restler in me needs to torture herself by not coming back for awhile to all you miraculously cool people, but...
if you had any doubts (which i doubt), l.a. has the best cycloculture out there. i've never met a group of people anywhere in the world that I loved more. (i'm-far-sighted.)

Didn't realize you were gone until Yo Delicious told us at lunch last Thursday. I hope NY treats you right and you come home to ride and visit us often.
P.S. I'm guessing, the whole, Bike House, Hostel thing is on hold for the time being ;-)

Well, I'm living and working at a hostel, with a bike kitchen/art/social/political activist space nearby. so, i'm learning some ropes to bring to the rodeo back in la.
i will come back, believe you me. ny's got nothin' on la bike love. it's too crowded, too policed, too pricey, and too mean ;) i mean, it's brilliant, and i've never known more creativity than in the people i see here, but it feels like there's a greater potential for a networked movement in l.a. more need for one, too.
i'd like to keep the discussion and ideas about the l.a. hostel going...and the search for places, too. this is going to be a fairly short-term thing, I suspect, and I don't want to miss a good find on the real estate front in l.a. problem is trying to get this done on my own, with limited knowledge. If you feel compelled to continue keeping your eye out, stevo, that would be immensely appreciated, but I don't expect it. no one else has been very focused or serious. i guess it is my project. i'd like a partner, though, at least. i'll write bikehouse group and keep my eyes out for interested parties. ;)

I know exactly what you mean, everyone says (northern) europe is heaven on earth for bikes. But fuck that I'm not ready for heaven, it's boring. LA is hell on earth for bikes, even so, we have something great. We have the FUN.

Got some stuffs to take care of, including going to Juarez, Mexico with Danny and Kat to research femicide and the efforts of Casa Amiga to find justice--go to the vigil ride on Nov 2 in L.A.!
After NY, more movement. I'll be back in L.A. NO LATER than Dec 31st, hopefully sooner. Until then, I'll cry inside.
