Hey, digablesoul, the ride is actually going to stay in the valley the whole time (I know it's Hollywood Ridazz, but we thought some of you hollywood kids should check out the valley). It's gonna end at the NoHo Redline Station (the starting point).

Roadblock your way smart and cool man. Thanks again for putting fine touches on everything. I said it before and I'll say it again, thank for giving us this website. You know all the sweet spots of the valley. I didn't know Balboa park was so beautiful.
Look forward to seeing you all again tonight

yeah, everything you said sexy! Balboa Park was a new one to me, too. Great ride and an all-time personal record for the latest time gettin' home from a ride: 4:30am!
and hey sexy, you "borrowed" my spoke card, but no hard feelings esp since you did give me a beer . . .

I'm so bummed I couldn't go. I grew up in the valley and have always wanted to ride the dam. Was it hard to get in?

yeh,,,how did you guys get into the dam??
MitzvahBoy01.28.07 - 10:47 pm
reply
How did we get into the Dam? We took the access road!
Speaking of the Dam I, broke my chain in it, who would of thought? A broken chain! I never did. But they dude that did, and got his paws all greasey fixing my chain, I owe a big thanks too. THANK YOU! I talk to some dudes after, that had a spear chain and master links. Besides that I don't think we had any other mechanical problems, or flats. I was at the front most of the time, so I could be wrong.
sexy01.28.07 - 10:54 pm
reply
Superfish and I did caboose duty for most of the ride, and everything went smoothly as far as I know. Nothing worse than saddle adjustment and a lost chain.
That dam was rad. Great turn out, great people.

it really was a night to remember, riding through balboa park and looking back at the trail of lights around the lake, crossing under the bridge TWICE just for the fuck of it... to flowing around the Sepulveda dam, the guy who did the ninja flips down the face of the dam... to rolling the orangeline bike path back...... having good conversations with Sexy and Rollers.... it was all there.
plus, when the group is 50-100 Ridazz the No Rida Left Behind slogan really takes on it's true essence.... it felt good to be able to stop and work to help out a fallen Rida. glad that the chain and flats and spills got fixed and we were on our way!

Glad you guys ended up in the dam. That and balboa park are two of my favorite places in the valley to ride around.
Thanks Roadblock for leading everyone through Balboa Park. After i put up the direction signs on the Oxnard end of the park, i cruised to Balboa Blvd to put up the others. I looked across the way and saw the ranger dude taking down my signs. I put the rest up, but from what i've heard, they all got pulled down before you made it there.

yeah man no sweat, you put in a lot of work on that route. it was really fun... lemme see if any of my video of the lake came out.

Sexy,
I changed the chain for you and Mark(Glorider?) provided the tool and the master link. No Rida Left Behind.

Yeh, and I solved the bottom bracket issue I was having, stripped it down and cleaned and regreased the fucker today, the cause of the wobble seems like it might have been the drive side of the bracket working it's way loose... but it is fixed now. No more wobble, and my seat seems to have stopped sliding, so yeah, all seems right with my bike now, and I'm ready for the next ride.
FuzzBeast01.29.07 - 5:28 pm

For a sliding seatpost, rub some dirt on it and it won't slide ---> tip from Mountain Bike Action magazine.
