Let me know what you think either here or email me barleye at hotmail.com
I chose to have everyone answer the same questions cuz they're the type of things I think most of us are curious about. This will put a face to a name as well.
What do you think of what's been posted so far?
I have more ride leader interviews ready to go in a week or so and am working on other interviews re: different aspects of the bike community in L.A. as well as stories that I think will be of interest to you.
Ridazz Spotlight can only be improved with your input....if you're reading this and haven't sent in your answers, do so when you get a chance. copy and paste an interview and answer them yourself . Ideally everyone that's active on these forums should have an interview on the site.
Reading these is making me grin like the Cheshire Cat. It's so awesome to hear (read) everyone's personal expression of their love and affinity for Midnight Ridazz and riding in Los Angeles.
I'm looking forward to sexy's spotlight responses. However, I'm not sure if the web server can handle all those lengthy paragraphs and misspelled words.
bike punk should be interviewed on Bike Talk for the whole show (if he hasn't already). I don't think these few questions will do justices to what is in that guys mind.

Suggestion: since the list of Rida Spotlights is already three pages long and you have three more pages of backlog, maybe make it searchable, and/or have a Spotlight Roulette?
i was soo000 gonna put u down in that list ,with the polo players..i just forgot.i did it randomly the other 2 girls i was gonna put were on there already.

Meow meow. I can’t do this when I am at work. Getting on the internets from home only happens when I pay bills. I drink when I pay bills. I have excel spreadsheets open and shit. It is a serious chore, so usually after I am done I am ready for a smoke but I don’t smoke so I do something else. Needless to say I forget to do other things like all the personal research or bike routes or adventures I need to look up online. It will happen – I just have to put it on a post it note and then find the post it note.

I don't have a way to contact everyone that's on these forums to tell them to answer the interview questions except for these posts....Without sounding like a pest....get on that shit!!!! pass it on..
Barleye you are fucking awesome. I'm glad you hounded me into turning on the article feature....
hmmmm maybe we can also get a knowledgebase going with how to info? there is another section I can turn on that could just be articles of knowledge... like what to do in a hit n run scenario, how to lead a ride, how to ride the streets safe at night etc etc etc...
"I miss the days of yelling at people to "JOIN US" instead of hearing people yell "Fuck you, get a bike!" - This is all of ours, we are the community, we should treat it as such."

One suggestion,
It would be good if the profiles were in alphabetical order, it will make it a lot easier to find people when the profiles start piling up.
From what I can see on the admin side of the database, the program is meant to be used in blog format...meaning each new entry bumps the prior entry down 1. It's very minimal choice-wise. the way it is now shbould be more fun as each new spotlight appears on the main page.

It would definitely be nice to see this linked to Ridazz Roulette or something- maybe have it show up on the search function or something as well. I personally like the blog format though, for the same reasons you mentioned.
I have to say, I just read Brick's spotlight, and it was absolutely frightening how clearly I could hear his voice. I could practically see him gesturing while he spoke, too. This stuff is awesome.

Maybe we could add a space in the profile for a link to each Rida's Spotlight page? I imagine it would look like the gallery link already on the page, maybe immediately below.
(I linked to Raquel's Spotlight, just for the specific URL address. I'll fill one out myself eventually, really I will.)
I imagine the little image could be a small spotlight, just like it's a camera for the gallery.
I'm not sure how easy this would be to code for, but I'd be willing to do the boring copy/paste probably necessary to fill in all the URLs for each individual profile if I had the access.
i dont think ive contributed anything close to some of what these members have done for mr but since you said whoever is a regular on here should send it..so im sending mine.
Coldcut decided to not capitalize one single word so coldcut will have to wait at the end of the line. Each and every one has to be formatted and spellchecked before they're posted.

yep...you sent back the answers only...that means this non paying job would entail a lot of copy and pasting which puts you just below coldcut....you guys can get to know each other better.

Off-topic, but what we've had going on for the last, few decades is "selective socialism".
These publicly funded bailouts of these "capitalistic" monstrosities as of late are a perfect example.
Instead of letting Darwinisms' "survival of the fittest" take its course, the forces of Man must intervene and fuck the natural cycle of life up.
Look just below these words...see all those names logged in recently? If your name is on there, you should be submitting your answers now....everyone else also...all inclusive.
email Mr Barleye and he'll forward you some questions.
Just remember to include both questions and answers in the reply email, or you'll spend a week or so in his basement as part of the Gimp collection, like I did.
A LOT OF GOOD ONES ARE IN THE EDITING STAGES...BUT I'M SLAMMED AT WORK SO THEY MAY HAVE TO WAIT A LITTLE BIT...thanks to CHYNNA AND KRISTA FOR PROOFREADING AND HTML HELP. THIS SPEEDS THE PROCESS....
