Chrome bags are waterproof, so technically you can use em as a ghetto cooler. I can just go to scoops, get some vegan ice cream in containers and throw them in my bag along with some ice.
Then we'll see if it actually works. haha

NO NO....its a 15 mile ride but the direct ride back to the starting point is only 5 miles, incase no one wants to stay and drink at the bar.

I reeelly wanna join you guys for this ride, but I work until 10, 10:30ish (downtown). anybody going who's willing to give me a number to try and catch up? I'm pretty fast :)

It just occurred to me that trying to pack 20 or so cyclists into an already overcrowded bar (think Irish tenements in NY circa mid. 19th century) is a little--well, overambitious.
I would start thinking of back up bars, just in case. Just a thought.

I am looking forward to the ride! One thing though....on the ride post, you have updated the meetup point. Cool. Got it. But in the text that explains the route--it says that it starts and ends at hillhurst and sixth. You might want to change this, or some people might go to the wrong meetup.

OK here...
1. we can always leave to another bar if it is too crowded no problem.
2. we will NOT end at the starting point. we will start at 6th and Alameda and END at SUNSET AND HILLHURST.

A HUUUUUGE thank you to everyone that came, played, and helped out! We were not anticipating so many people:) We're sorry it was so hectic. trial and error. Next month will be much more organized, and much more riding!promise. Hope everyone had fun<3

aww that sucks.
I just got home from the kind of wonderful, ridiculous, absurdist, physically draining weekend that only ridazz can do. This ride was the beginning of a 3 day bike extravaganza, and it was amazing. you guys did a great job, sure there were a few kinks, but those things get worked out the more you do them.
