if this is about a girl, then i should let you in on a secret that you should already know since youre a few years older than me - they like knowing that they are in control of you even after your relationships are over.
but you can usurp that power back by not giving them the time of day, not thinking about them, not mentioning their name, etc etc etc. especially in a public forum such as this.
