ok ok here it is a downhill run from chantry flats down to in and out on Santa Anita winner gets a #1 medal and a combo #1 and 10% off at Stan's Monrovia bikes on any accessories helmets will be a must and lights a must and some sort of ambulance on call and spotters to make sure no traffic on the hill it self all participants get a spoke card and we can all regroup and get beers so bring you cow bells and lights a cameras there will be four classes of race's mountain bike class,road bike class,fixie class,bmx class, and if we get any pro's there will be a pro class please i will need volunteers for this so if you would like to volunteer for this please email me at spanks386@yahoo.com

 This is about three miles from the end of the Gold line station. It's doable with just about everyone. Coming back would be somewhat downhill too.

 yes its very close to the sierra madre villa station and it is almost all downhill back to the goldline and no i dont think it connects to sgv trail but it is close by and its not to far it close by for everyone except san deago lol

 oh and i am am going to hold it on 1-17-09 time 8pm start at 9:30pm

 more then likely, I'll make this. But with work/holidays, you never know. It really is a great (maybe epic) paved downhill ride. But since I'll be taking it easy, I'll let you in on a little secret, you can prerun this race in the virtual world. Just Youtube search "Chantry Flats". There are some bike decent videos, which will really help you know what turns are coming up. And if you really are pushing it, little L.E.D lights won't cut it. Not to scare anyone, but there really are plenty of death drops. But it's all worth it. Especially if you win & take a bite into that #1 Combo! ;-)
