i need to hire a really good henna tattoo artist for a palm springs event my company is putting on in mid July. if any of you know someone, please have them contact me. as always, whenever possible, we need to keep it in the MR family. Craig@ImageTherapists.com or 310.228.7522

Aww, man this offer sounds legit as fuck. I used to do henna tattoos at Venice Beach, but I haven't done any for years. I know a couple of artists out at Venice though, so I'll see if anyone's interested.

Just make sure they're using PPD-free henna (e.g. not the black stuff).
(Google PPD henna for all kinds of delightful pictures of what that can do.)

my apologies. i was in a crappy mood yesterday. it's important to me to help my friends and support people who are doing good, cool things... like bike riding, bike commuting, bike advocacy. whenever i can, i try to hire out of this pool or rent apartments (with discount) to my friends in MR. I don't need some no nothing who doesn't know me calling me a con man flaming up to tone of my posting.

Said she used to do henna and would see if could find a friend to recommend to you.
or maybe you were responding to the warning about the "black henna" which may have been unnecessary by seemed 100% well intentioned.
As a seasoned grouch ... i'm trying understand anything at all in this thread (before my pedantic and condescending post) that would have been worthy of setting you off.

you are so right. it's a lesson. when you're in a bad place you interpret everything as bad, regardless of the intensions. yes, much better allen.
did get a call from someone off MR and hired them for the Palm Springs gig.
