seriously i do... i think its a pisces, water, going home type thing.
But last night i took a ride from inglewood to redondo beach, hermosa beach, manhattan beach. The streets going to the beach were rough but im pretty sure i can map it out for future rides and possibly make it a regular thing!!!
Any ridazz in the area who want to accompany next week and help out with a route, or just mosey on down...there are a bunch of bars and beaches in the area...

I am unable to ride mondays and wednesdays (already schedule for rides) but thursdays or fridays sound good

The only beach that sucks is Dockweiler Beach.
Morons who block the strand and chat and can't babysit their kids ruin it all for bike riders. I can't tell you how many times I've had near misses with morons who just sit there at the strand in the summer.

Let's be honest, bike paths on beaches are kind of a dumb idea in the first place. You'll never keep pedestrians from using them as a way to get from point A to point B without having to trudge through sand. They're useless for anything other than riding at 2 MPH on a beach cruiser, which is pretty much their intended purpose anyway.

^^^^Not meant as a knock on people who ride slowly on beach cruisers, which is a perfectly honorable use of people's leisure time. So don't flame me.

Beach rides are my favorite. But I'm talkin a beach ride done right, on a beach cruiser.

I rather like beach paths, just now i was able to ride for 45 minutes uninterrupted by either cars, traffic signals or pedestrians, and because it was late (8.30pm) on a weeknight I was able to average speeds of 18-22mph, it was awesome.

this thread went to shit with the flatulence...ive never rode to dockweiler beach...but i rode to redondo beach from inglewood tuesday night, started @ 8ish??? and the bike lane on redondo was open at night good for some sprints... next week tuesday...8ish departure...
