Never been to a crank mob looking forward to make it to this so call crankmas..hey barlame could you put the route for Friday night I might be able to make it
Ah Chyna i never knew you were a fan of shinsho shinshi as well.
it is an intimate act that should between two true lovers in a comfortable setting with your lips glistening while your body is sluggish with goat meat
One wintry night after eating Indian... Slowrighthand whispered into my ear, his breath rich with faraway spices, that he desire to make love. He wanted to try shinshi shinshi. Now, I'd been begging him to try sinshi shinshi for months. He'd refused on the grounds that it was unclean. Finally, he was willing to accept his lover's body in places no one had ever trespassed. Specifically, the ear canal.
The LAPD can fucking blow me so badlee, But aside from the pigs, who misrepresented themselves to me and can generally fuck off, the ride organizers did not emphasize leave no trace enough. People I know and love stayed behind for a long time picking up after the disrespectful fucking 12-year-olds at the beginning, and that was it for them. Disrespectful bullshit children + LAPD (who are also disrespectful bullshit children) can suck my left tit, because you fucked the night up. Fuck off.
The cops were totally over the top, but I also know that with freedom comes responsability. there were too many knuckleheads going either too fast, or into opposing traffic. they would not heed the call to stay to the right or to keep it slow.
the trash was out of control, over at Subway, accross form Ross, there was a group of about 8-10 guys who were just standing there looking at the trash, I saw a girl come over to pick up the trash and ask for a little help. those pussies just clapped their hands at her efforts, with one dick head saying "I don't pick up trash I just go fast" he gets the dickehead of the night award. Hey pussy boy, you are the reason why this ride needs to go underground. dickeheads like like you will never amount to much. Why don't you do us all a favor and kill yourself now, and take the jelly donut eating squids from the LAPD in riot gear with you? Oh, and by the way, I checked out your ride...come back when you can show up with a better bike than that pice of shit you were riding, at least you both deserve each other!
I got back forn CRANK MOB at 5am We had an epic time and a great ride back thru Venice and the beach. thanks Ritchie for all you did last night, I can hardly wait for the next one that wont happen! Please take us underground, away form the pussies and the LAPD pussies too, we know how to find you...I remember one statement on a thread a long time ago..."Crank Mob does not telegraph its punches!"
Like Steph so eloquently put it...Disrespectful bullshit children + LAPD (who are also disrespectful bullshit children) can suck my left tit, because you fucked the night up. Fuck off.

Unfortunately, the people I was with who stayed behind at the start to pick up trash were so fed up after that and after the riot cops at the first stop, that we left. I'm glad to hear that the ride continued and went well, but I was so fucking pissed when I got home last night, and am still bummed that the ride that I was so looking forward to went the way it did.
the meet spot to Ross was a sweet ride- the cops corked and it was a great night to be out on your bicycle taking the lane and heading for the beach- I had a blast, Thanks Richie--

I had a dual-drum, refuse bike trailer in the works, but a persistent gout attack over the last two weeks has hindered progress on anything for me.
Just coming down to experience all of this was a bit of a chore since I was still in moderated pain.
I would say that keeping it underground won't be that much of a task.
Email, snail-mail, or face-to-face invites to keep unwanted parties/persons away.
And the presence of 1-3 "recycle bikes" armed with drums, brooms and bags.
Reduce the footprint, reduce the likelihood of any grievances/complaints from the general public.
I agree with you 100%....this has to go underground....I love the C.R.A..N.K mob environment along with the F.U.N people in it who know how to have a good and safe time. I'm glad I got to meet up with you guys later on....I had an amazing time....Thank you richie and all the ones who made C.R.A.N.K mob possible.

I agree it should go underground and stay underground because then nobody will care that some crack sniffing westsiders are masturbating their own egos in the middle of nowhere anyway. you want to make some lame V.I.P. party bullshit, go ahead!! but look at where you live!! you live in LA you dumb motherfuckers!! they have valet parking at the laundrymat!! your not special your pathetic!! you are part of the problem your running from
jaywalker, if i had a troll account, you'd be the troll account's boyfriend irl.
does that make sense?
probably not, but that's okay, i know what i mean.
Your really going to justify dumping a bunch people in the middle of nowhere because some assholes left some cups on the ground. get your fucking priorities in order!! I got invited to the bullshit afterparty and still thought that the whole V.I.P. thing was for assholes!!
If I was on a ride with a stranger in the middle of nowhere I would not dump them and leave them stranded. thats fucking bullshit!! if you want to justify this lets tell the fuckin truth, IT WASNT BECAUSE SOMEONE LEFT CUPS ON THE GROUND, it was because you wanted to justfy your lame V.I.P. party

My OPINION, so dont get all jumpy and butthurt, just my opinion.
Crankmas this year was a WRECK. To start the night, all the cops lined all up and down sepulveda was a joke. Bikers were sitting Ducks. The cops were targeting bikers with no lights to try n discourage people about riding. That was plain nonsense, not to mention i know 2 people who got bumped up for no lights. Good thing they didnt let it get to them and ruin their night.
From the starting point to the ross parking lot, i was concerned. There was a whole bunch of people, and a whole bunch of people without respect for other riders. in that little distance i saw more accidents, people being cut-off and dis-respectful unsafe riding than i have seen in 10 rides combined. Not to mention the constant police presence, and people riding into the opossing lane over the double yellow line. Too many people making poor desicions and too many un-skilled riders.
As for the Ross stop. I had a girl friend who went to subway, when she came back she told me she heard that the cops had shut down the ride and people were to leave. Good thing too minutes later, i saw Markie, and he let me know to follow him and continue the ride. This was a good and bad thing. Good thing was, that a whole ton of riders were knocked off, and the police didnt bother us for the rest of the night. So if that was planned, Kudos. Bad thing was, the ride went from thousands to a couple hundred (can also be a good thing depending how u see it ). The next stop by the creek was a perfect location but didnt have too many people there.
By ride out from that stop, everyone was super hammered, and on the way up jefferson, homie bit it, and threw his knee out of sock-it (if you stopped to help you know how gross it was) so from there me and 2 comrades rode back to the meet spot to get our cars and do an emergency rescue. by the time we got back to the car is was 4:30 am and we had, had enough.
All in all, despite the beginning, and the ross lot, everything after that was F.U.N! Going UNDERGROUND is what i suggest as well. More of a word of mouth, event. That will eliminate the non-respectful riders, the un-educated, the disrespectful, and the cops. Because, its going downhill, zepplin style, and now is the time to change things, before its too late.
I am in no way critizing the people who put on this event, or disrespecting, like i said, this is just my opinion. Thank you for putting this all together, thanks to Markie, and the FMLY ride heads, and all my fellow Never Low's.
Well, even if this "VIP" thing was the real case, I'm not too bummed.
The two I brought down with me were barely in any shape to haul ass to the near front like I do and I was still recovering from a G-Attack, so we were pretty much relegated to REMF status for the entire night.
Still, not bummed, just feel like I whigged out of the traditional style of the ride going on until 6AM.
Ending the night at 2AM is like saying I'm an old man that had to go home and feed his non-existent children.
I'm too passive to rant off in a tangent as you just did to me....you're getting mad from a suggestion to make an amazing ride asshole free and not having to worry about picking others trash and dealing with there stupidity and failure to ride a bicycle in a safe manner. But no, instead of trying to reason with a fellow rida you go and start name calling to someone you know nothing about. You don't seem to understand the situation here. How about you go and think back as to why C.R.A.N.KMAS was "shut down"....and maybe this time don't be ignorant and show respect.

I wouldnt go all out and say it was a "VIP" thing. theres 2000 people there, who all have their own minds. I just happened to follow the right crowd. Its not like there was a dissappearing act or any magic, there wasnt a bouncer in the middle of the street not letting people pass. There was just way too many people to control, Point Blank. A single guy with a megaphone, shouldnt have to baby sit 2000+ people.

true, but what if you went to K-town and just started lighting artillery shots up into the sky in front of cops?....and what if you were screaming at cops calling them pigs?....and riding ur bike in the left side of the rode across from the double yellow?....they will be like wtf?....and I'm sure they will not want you to come back.

You're the ones who put this event out there and publicized it, so it's total hypocrisy to say that there were too many people to handle. Even the event invite said there would be 1500+ people, so where's the surprise?
Don't exagerrate. Okay, so one or two people were lighting fireworks out of a crowd of 2000, so what? And a couple of people yelled stuff @ the cops, so what?
I didn't do any of that shit and neither did about 1900 of the riders on Saturday night, so why were we all excluded from your exclusive event?
Like said befor be richie himself....it only takes 1 person to ruin the whole night for us and make us look bad....and its not so what....it shouldn't of had happen....it clearly was posted up above you...it says "we are not here to babysit you"....so you just have to understand why they did wat they had to do to keep crank mob going all morning....fortunate for me I kept crank mobbing alllll morning long till 6am

Good for you. In the future just spell out on the ride calendar that your ride is for VIP insiders and not the rest of us and there is some secret route or destination.
In the mean time, the rest of us will keep the spirit of Midnight Ridazz and No Rida Left Behind alive!
And do you really enforce that?....becuz I have people to back me up on that....I'm a strick no rida left behind enforcer....and its not my ride btw...you don't understand....ur not being open-minded about this at all....you fail to see everyones perception.

All I'm saying is I came out to have a good time. Next thing I know, the "cool people" have boogied on to places unknown and I'm standing around in a Ross parking lot like an idiot who has been stood up by a date.
I've met Richie in the past and he's a solid guy, so I have a hard time believing he caught the vapors, but someone else behind the scenes must have caught the mean girls/ 90210 vibe.
btw. I didn't see anyone among the organizers confronting the people who were breaking the rules.
At first I was also dissapointed....I also was like wtf happened so me and a group of friends just left to go eat at dennys soon after....and then I get a call from a friend that he's with crank mob so I joined in.....I was just lucky I got to meet up with them after. But I couldn't let everything else spoil the night so I just partied on.

So your talking about being short sighted and not taking everyone into account. If you get ten people in a room you are going to get one person who shows their ass. But when you get 2000 your going to get more. But as far as I know, the only casualty was the Crankmobber that got too drunk to ride after the split. And I have seen fireworks on prior Crankmobs, so that is no excuse for dumping people. The point is there were alot of new riders and there were people there who came for the mere pleasure of being part of a ride of thousands ( and didn't care about the DJs and jousting). And once you take all these people into account, nobody hurt anybody else! Nobody did anything stupid enough to get arrested, and nobody ended up in the hospital. So of you really want to take it all into account look at the whole picture.
Again, for myself, it was just a combination of having a preexisting bum foot and the fact that there were too many people I didn't even recognize who were among those stuck at what I thought was the tail-end of the pack.
Believe me, if I was above 70% operating capacity that night, I would've run upon the "secret spot" under my own volition.
"but someone else behind the scenes must have caught the mean girls/ 90210 vibe. "
Oh, trust me. I went to Crank Mob all the way from Burbank/ North Hollywood. When I realized what was going on, I found out where Venice was and took my ass all the way home.
@soulonice I would like to clarify, that when I say the ride needs to go underground, I mean away from the cops. I was not opining about any VIP anything.
And just for the record, it wasn't a VIP thing. Everyone who's been riding for a while and has been on Crank Mob more than 2 times in their lives knows the ride never ends til the sun comes up. Shoulda followed some of the kids that were in the costumes/seemed to be in charge (because now you guys are claiming they weren't doing a good job of that as well) and you too woulda made it to the mini festival after the Ross parking lot. I saw a ton of people there. Little by little more and more riders were trickling in as the night progressed.

Exactly what July said. It wasnt a VIP party. If you cant spot the huge group of people mostly on freak bikes covered in glitter leaving the spot then maybe you need glasses. I heard a group went to Crank Mob park, I heard a group went to wade park, I heard a group went to home depo, I heard people were over on santa monica and 14th and I personally saw groups riding all over the place. How come people are only calling one group a VIP party, is it because they were having more fun than everyone else? Also the reason crank mob ended in the first place was because of all the same problems that were happening on crankmass 3. Mass litter, people riding recklessly. The way I see it this was peoples chance to show they can bring the fun in a responsible manner. Richie said everything in the description of the ride. If people didnt want to follow the guide lines why are you complaining that he ended the night early? It really is not to hard. Leave no trace, ride responsibly, dont harass motorists, bring the fun or dont complain.
Anyone hear anything about a skater getting tazered? One of my lil homies brought this to my attention, that he heard the next morning, that some FOOLS on the ride tazered some skater pretty
