Are they comparing riding a bolted down stationary bike for '500 meters' with the US and world records for doing the same on a rolling bike on a track? The riding style Congo used to go that fast wouldn't be possible on a rolling bicycle. he'd crash on the 10th pedal stroke, he's throwing the bike around so much. Never mind the impact of wind resistance on his time.

no their comparing riding a bolted down stationary bike for "500 meters" to a guy on a stationary bike doing "500 meters" its caled a gold sprint not a dash... the riding congo does on a gold sprint is different then what he would do on a velodrome or on a track because its a gold sprint thats how its done, i know its confusing but yes there is a record for riding a stationary bike quickly.. its called a goldsprint.. hehe.
