Lower back pain?

So I just started riding again after a few weeks off. I also just changed to a new saddle (my other one was breaking), switched out my pedals, and raised the seat a bit. During the latter part of a ride last night, I found myself in an extreme amount of pain in my lower back, but mostly on one side. I do have sciatica, and that was where my sciatica kinda goes crazy too, when it acts up. Soooo, in effect, does anyone have an opinion on what could be causing my lower back pain/sciatic flare up? I wanna fix whatever is wrong pronto so I can keep riding!! This was SUPER annoying!!

if you raised the distance between your pedal and your seat significantly, (like over 1/4" and up)...you're probably bending over at a steeper angle, and if you're not used to it, you can tire out your back...you might want to make a more gradual seat height adjustment...
if you moved it up 1", that's a BIG change... the other thing you can do, if you needed to move the seat up because your knees were too bent during pedaling is that you could move your stem/handlebars up just a little to match the seat adjustment...

actually, that helps a lot. I did change it a fair amount, I think, so maybe I will try to adjust the stem now. Hope it works! Thanks SO much!!

post a photo of your bike, preferably drive side.

Yeah, but that doesn't generally act up without a catalyst. Which is why I was thinking it's gotta be the new saddle or pedals or the height change. I just want to figure out which one it might be or if anyone else has had similar problems.

drink more water too... sometimes lower back pain is caused by dehydration.

Work on making small adjustments one at a time. Try to pay attention to what's working and how your body is being positioned. When you have alot of things you can adjust, it's going to take some time to dial it in. Also try a small rotation of the handlebars. Everything that can be adjusted you could try. Even tire pressure.
