So i know that there is a small group of people that would love a fast paced ride on the west side, but not quite wolfpack speed and distance. I am totally down for this and am actually really looking forward to it! If it was my preference, i'd love the ride to be thursdays so that we don't miss the fun fri and sat rides plus it gives a day or two to recoop from the monday wolfpack ride lol.
If you are interested, i'd love to hear what day is good for people and any ideas you might have.

Thursdays are great. How about the Trader Joe's in Culver City as a rendevous or the Bikerowave parking lot on 28th and Pico.

that sounds cool, meeting at trader and pickin up the other group. Perhaps that can be for riders who want more mileage onto the ride. I like it! Otherwise...the regular ride can be....

Meet at 8 at Bikerowave, Pounce at 8:30.
20-30 miles
If you do not have a roadbike, fixed, track bike, or big tricycle, you
will likely have a hard time keeping up. No Cub left behind.

Bikerowave is right down the street from where I work so that's a good plan for me. Also, you could get drunk at Joker and get fed at Rae's. Only thing is... does anyone think 8:00 is a touch early?

my only concern as far as time goes, is that it's a thursday. Many people have to get up early and don't want to be out too late. If it doesn't bother anyone, i have problem moving it later. Starting at 9 just flows better anyway lol

the early time slot is a bit difficult for me too.
10pm would be ideal and so would the trader joe's or india sweets and spices meeting point in culver city.
anyone interested in a monday or tuesday night ride, or is thursday set?

Yeah nine or ten is much cooler. I have to pull strings to get off work by eight (i.e. I just got home from work and it's after midnight... 15 hrs baby!). But most importantly, the night air makes you ride faster!

How about we compromise and make it 9pm? If it turns out that most people have a hard time with it, we can always change it for the next one.
I'll get a route planned and any input is welcomed.

BTW I can't make it on Thursday, can we move the ride to next month? I'll be out of town then, so maybe we can do it in the place I'll be going instead of L.A.? Also, I don't have a bicycle - are roller skaters riders too? An night time doesn't work for me: I watch all my shows on Tivo at night. Let's do this ride during the day, when everyone is at work.
How about this: Cubpack meets at my house in two months to watch me play video games.

Hey guys this ride is now called Cubcamp. Trying to keep Bikerowave the same meeting place to give them more exposure as well.
Every 5th ride is an all out hustle. Keeping up will give you a good idea if you'll be able to complete a "wolfpack" ride.
