Women's Bike Night - Bike Week Pasadena

Live well by bike and see the city in a whole new way! The 9th Annual Bike Week Pasadena rolls through May 11th-16th, 2015 providing

even more opportunities for community members to zip along on two wheels in fun, supported, and engaging ways! C.I.C.L.E., an L.A.

based bike advocacy non-profit, and the City of Pasadena present a week-long showcase for most skill levels and age groups to promote

bicycling as a safe and sustainable way to access your daily errands and favorite activities!

On Wednesday, May 13th, C.I.C.L.E. will host Womenâ€™s Bike Night, including an evening ride under the stars and rad workshops (expo

style!) and giveaways for women who love to ride, presented by Team Luna CHIX at the Pasadena Cyclery. Weâ€™ll end the evening with a

post-ride social gathering at Sushi Roku with discounted drinks and food nearby. This ride aims to create a unique space for women-

identified riders but is open to everyone. This ride is under 7 miles and will end at Sushi Roku.

When: Wednesday, May 13th, 2015

Where: Meet at Pasadena Memorial Park, 30 N Raymond Avenue

Pasadena, CA 91101 (on the corner of Holly and Raymond)

Time: 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Accessible: By the Metro Gold Line, Memorial Park Station

What to Bring: Your bicycle, in good running order, a lock and plenty of night lights. All participants should be able to ride a bike safely with

the ability to brake, change gears, and balance while stopping and starting. All participants under 18 must wear a helmet and be escorted

by a parent or guardian. Children under age 8 should be on a tag-a-long, bike trailer, tandem, or other safe child-carrying device to

participate in the ride.

About C.I.C.L.E.: Cyclists Inciting Change thru Live Exchange (C.I.C.L.E.) is a nonprofit organization working to promote the bicycle as a

viable, healthy and sustainable transportation choice.
