Join C.I.C.L.E. for the ArtNight Pasadena Bicycle Ride! Experience the evening through a creative excursion to the city’s most dynamic
exhibits, on two wheels!
On Friday, March 14th, skip the congestion and daunting parking searches and roll through ArtNight Pasadena on your bike with C.I.C.L.E.!
Explore Pasadena’s museums and exhibits, as well as the vibrant space in between, during an easy, breezy ride connecting Pasadena’s
artistic gems. ArtNight Pasadena is open to the public and offers free admission to a selection of art venues throughout the city. This
community bicycle ride is generously sponsored by the Pasadena Department of Transportation. C.I.C.L.E. will be making stops at the
Pasadena Museum of California Art, Pacific Asia Museum, Pasadena Museum of History, Side Street Projects, and the Armory Center for
the Arts. Pop in and out of each exhibit with ease and fuel your creative soul!
As with all C.I.C.L.E. rides, this ride is family-friendly and leisurely paced. C.I.C.L.E. rides are fully supported, led by trained Ride Leaders
and volunteers who provide a safe and enjoyable riding environment for beginning and experienced riders alike. The ride is under 8 miles.
Prior to the ride we will address safe street riding and group ride etiquette to ensure smooth sailing.
Where: Meet at Memorial Park Pasadena (Raymond Ave. & Holly Street). Memorial Park is a Metro Gold Line stop.
When: Friday, March 14, 2014
Time: Meet at 6:30pm, the ride will depart promptly at 7pm.
What to bring: Bring your bicycle in good working order and plenty of night lights. This ride is FREE and open to anyone, but all participants
should be able to ride a bike safely with the ability to brake, change gears, and balance while stopping and starting. All participants under 18
MUST wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent or guardian. Children under age 8 should be on a tag-a-long, bike trailer, tandem, or
other safe child-carrying device to participate in the ride.

viable, healthy, and sustainable transportation choice.
About Pasadena Department of Transportation: The City Council recognizes the need to enhance transportation services in order to
achieve Pasadena's overall vision. In 2002, the City established a separate Department of Transportation in order to provide for increased
policy oversight and effective program implementation.
