Seems the planners and caretakers of Griffith Park, against overwhelming opposition, are moving forward
with turning the place into another lame ass Shitty Walk parking lot and shopping mall.

Fuck that.

the meeting is at 6:30 today if anyone is interested in saving one of our last public parks then BE THERE.
the last thing I want to see is another goddamned city walk plopped in the middle of my favorite riding
escape. Sorry for the profanity but this type of development blows in my book.

NOTE:
This morning the Recreation & Parks Department notified the
Working Group that the October 2nd Griffith Park Draft Master Plan
meeting has been moved to October 16th due to Yom Kippur and
Columbus Day. the postponement does not appear on the Rec & Parks web site. Neither does the new
meeting date. Rec & Parks has not posted the date of Working Group Master Plan meetings for several
months, even though the public asks them to do so at every meeting.
