Bike San Gabriel Valley - Emerald Necklace Bike Train

The SGV Bike Train is a family friendly bike ride along the Emerald Necklace that takes place the last Sunday of each month. Our Bike SGV

Pit Stop is located at Legg Lake, Whittier Narrows and features music, snacks, water, info booths, occasional BBQ, mechanic workshops

and a children's ride that goes around the lake.

BikeSGV's monthly ride along the Rio Hondo and San Gabriel River Class I bike paths continues this Sunday. Riders will meet at Legg Lake at

9am, depart by 10am, and head north on the Rio Hondo to Peck Park, before cutting across to the San Gabriel River trail and back to the

starting point at Legg Lake in Whittier Narrows. We will be meeting at the usual reservation site next to the free parking lot on Santa Anita

Ave. The area is well-shaded, and family-friendly with playground and park space for the kids.

This month's event will also feature a walk/jog/run component! Explore the shaded trails of Legg Lake and Whittier Narrows from our home

base.
