LA Guerrilla Gardening .ORG is planning tree planting support by BICYCLE!
We're excited for this weekend and can't wait to see all your faces on Saturday. Here are the details for the
day:
WHERE TO MEET
January 26, 2012 (Saturday)
9:00 AM
Morningside Highschool (Parking Lot)
10500 South Yukon Avenue Inglewood, CA 90303
There will be people setting up and getting ready for the day, so keep an eye out for other people on bikes
and look for our two LAGG members in LAGG shirts.
If you'd like to ride as a group, Mr. Stamen (LAGG) will be meeting people at the Wilshire/Western metro stop
at 7:30am and head to the school promptly at 8:00am. For this part of the ride, be prepared to ride city streets
as a group.
WHAT TO WEAR
The forecast says rain, but we don't buy it. You'll be riding and getting a little dirty, so dress appropriately.
WHAT TO BRING
A water bottle to keep you hydrated
Helmet — safety first!
Bike basket, backpack or bike trailer (if possible, not required)
Gloves and a small shovel (if possible, not required)
Bring a snack, but there will also be lunch provided after we ride
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A BIKE?
You can still help! Still bring a backpack, gloves and a shovel if you have them.
