AIDS LIFECYCLE 2013

Itâ€™s a 7-day, 545 mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles that raises money and awareness for the HIV and AIDS services of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. This marks the eleventh year for AIDS/LifeCycle and the nineteenth for the event overall, and during the week of June 2-8, 2013, thousands of Cyclists and volunteer Roadies will come together to do something incredible. Something that will change lives. Something that YOU can be a part of! You only need to register; weâ€™ll help you train and fundraise. What are you waiting for?

Why We Ride

We ride to raise awareness and knowledge about HIV/AIDS among participants, their donors, and the general public. We ride because the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center agencies need funding to provide the critical services and education needed to meet the growing needs of our community. Ultimately, we ride so that someday, we wonâ€™t have to.

Community

AIDS/LifeCycle is more than just the 7 days we spend together in June. Whatâ€™s truly remarkable and unique about ALC is that participants, donors, sponsors, and staff work together 12 months a year to support one another in every way. Whether you need a bike, need help fundraising, or just someone to talk to, the AIDS/LifeCycle community is here to help you. And someday, it might be your turn to assist someone else.
