DOGERTOWN BIKE RIDE with the EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB

The EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB's "DODGERTOWN BIKE RIDE" is a unique FUN - FAMILY FRIENDLY, ECO FRIENDLY, CASUAL PACED
BIKE RIDE TO DODGER STADIUM TO WATCH A GAME.

We are celebrating two of Americas's favorite past times "Baseball & Bike Riding." It is a healthy event that most Angelenos can
participate in. Our members have mapped out and selected the most flat ride possible. Dodger Stadium is located on a hill and there is
a short incline when we reach the stadium, but the rewards will be worthwhile as cyclists participating in this ride will be making LA
History as it is the first time such a bike ride happens in Los Angeles or in any other city in the United States.

The event starts with a Bike Rally, featuring a best decorated "LA Dodger Fan and Bike" themed Bike Parade (ala Soul Train Line),
prizes will being awarded for best decorated bikes and riders. Music, raffles, health and bike related resources will also be made
available.

Eastside Bike Club will lead the short four mile ride to Dodger Stadium with their music trailer as we celebrate this first of its kind ride in
Los Angeles, the first for the LA Dodgers, the first for Major League Baseball.

The Dodger organization is providing a designated Bike Parking Area to accommodate all the cyclist and is waiving parking fees for
anyone who rides a Bike with our group. This epic event takes on Saturday, September 1, 2012 as the Dodgers hosts the Arizona
Diamond Backs.

ESBC has secured a couple of sections at Dodger Stadium for all cyclist and their families through a Group ticket sales. Please

A portion of the ticket sales sold through this link will be donated to the EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB's efforts of providing Safe Bike Riding
Family Bike Excursions, Bike Riding Education and Safety, Bike Advocacy and free minor bike repairs for families who can not afford it.

Your friends, co-workers and family members can join you at the game as they can support our fundraiser by also purchase tickets thru
our link as well.

WHAT TO BRING:
A Bike in good working condition
Bike Locks
Helmet
Bike Lights (we will be riding at night for a short trek thru DTLA after the game and use them during the game)
Money for your meal at the game
Cell phone
Most of all come with a great attitude and be ready to experience a terrific time as we celebrate two of Americas favorite past times
Bikes and Baseball.

BIKE RIDE LEAVES AT 4:30pm - GAME STARTS AT 6:10pm

The Sumer night ride will continue after the game for a short bike ride through Downtown Los Angeles, past Staple Center / Nokia Live,
Little Toyko, Olvera Street, Chinatown and back to Lincoln Heights. (If you never traveled to DTLA on a bike at night - You are in for a
treat)
