START LOCATION: Main St. & Winward Ave (The Winward Circle), Venice, CA 90291
Wife Bike will be moving to Australia this December, and this is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the fact that we won’t have to ride with her for the next 6 months. I know I’m excited to get rid of her, and I bet you are too. Even if you don't know her, there is a good chance you wouldn't like her, so I think you should come ride with us and show her how glad you are that she is leaving.
On this ride we will consume large quantities of distilled and/or fermented beverages in an attempt to ultimately force the creation of a police record in the name of Wife Bike. Our mission is a simple one and we must remain true to our directive...GET SHANNON ARRESTED.
This ride will also be a celebration of her birthday, so make sure to buy her some of the above mentioned distilled and/or fermented beverages, or get her some calf implants.
YOU ARE INVITED ON THIS RIDE IF SHANNON HAS EVER:
- Spilled beer on you
- Punched you
- Screamed obscenities at you
- Broken something of yours
- Shown you part of her body that you never wanted to see
- Shown you part of her body that you did want to see
- Crashed on her bike and tried to blame you
- Gotten hit by a car in front of you
- Made fun of you for the way you ride your bike
- Drank all your beer
- Eaten all your food
- Smoked all your cigarettes
- Vomited on or near you
- Just plain old annoyed the hell out of you
You are also invited on this ride if you actually like Shannon, want to pretend you like Shannon, or just want to join us for a fun evening. We will be stopping at some bars along the way, so make sure to bring your ID, some $ and your lock.
Prepared to get drunk and raise hell Wife Bike style (dirty clothes optional).
PLEASE NOTE: THIS RIDE WILL NOT END AT THE STARTING POINT. I WOULD TELL YOU WHERE IT ENDS, BUT I DON'T KNOW YET. WE HAVE A TENTATIVE ROUTE, BUT WE AREN'T SCOUTING IT, AND THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE WE WON'T EVEN GET TO THE END POINT. THERE IS ALSO A GOOD CHANCE THAT THE RIDE WILL BE HIJACKED AND NOT GO ANYWHERE WE PLANNED. WE HAVE PLANNED 5 STOPS (4 BARS AND 1 LIQUOR STORE). IT MAY POSSIBLY END IN HOLLYWOOD, SILVERLAKE, OR DOWNTOWN, BUT YOU NEVER KNOW. THERE IS ALSO THE POSSIBILITY WE DON'T MAKE IT OUT OF VENICE. ALL I KNOW IS YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED TO FIND YOUR OWN WAY HOME OR JUST SLEEP IN THE PARK. IT'S WHAT SHANNON WOULD DO.
